Open auction. I bid 110, dont sell to whacky will
  4. Mitz, Im definitely in, and will be eating. its an estimate but +4 atm. Jaz
  5. I'll PM you my number pal, I'll be at Cougar store (135 Queens Rd, Leicester LE2 3FL) from 9 till about 12, so just ring me when you finish and i'll let you know where I am. If thats on your route, you might as well swing past and say hey.
  6. hello my good man, enjoy your Zed. In answer to your questions : 1, this is personal preference... how much work do you want involved? I have seen some excellent build threads on putting android tablets into the sat nav cubby... I have a kenwood, db2220smthsmth.. It's alright, but the tough sensitivity is crude. 2, YES, nuff said 3, my understanding is that there isnt autofold mirrors.... however, if you search this forum for autofold mirrors, there is a chap (i believe called flyboy) who has retrofitted auto folding mirrors. 4, Unaware of south west meets, but come to Leicester... June 15th, big meet in Leicester. (sorry no time to find link) Most importantly, have fun with it...
  7. Billy, Im coming to see mitz and get some work done on saturday am... 9-12 ish. If you fancy a beer / breakfast and a chat with a fellow z owner head down. Mitz at Cougar store is a guy you should meet too.... no doubt he will help you perfect your Z in the future (not that it isnt perfect now, of course....) Also, do you have a stubby aerial? < essential.
  8. This megaphone exhaust is much ado about nothing.... retro fitting a loader exhaust? Pfft. If Hamilton wins each race as he has done so far, bring back v12's and the sport will still be questionably dull. There needs to be 3 versions of f1. 1, Manufacturers F1... who can make the fastest car (basically, f1 now) 2, Safety F1.. Think of wacky races... sprinkler systems, perhaps barriers that randomly appear in the track that the drivers must avoid.... perhaps all cars have boadicea spikes. The challenge here is who can make the safest car.... who can make a car that crashes but mends itself? 3, Drivers F1... This would basically be BTCC but quicker. Very similar cars, with ballast and many other ideas that keep the pack together... 2 would get A LOT of viewers, and raise only a few moral questions.
  9. That sounds good.... I am very keen, and will do some looking around... Who do i speak to about getting this lunch time slot?
  10. I would really like to do the taster session over lunch. Bit of a scardy cat to go for the whole day. Is the 20 minutes with other beginners though? as if it is, it seems like a stupid idea, surely what I need to learn is other very skilled, reliable drivers, that arent going to bin their saxos up my rear end.
  11. Now this, is we are counting modified cars, is almost perfect imo 355 with tubi exhuast. Issue is, its not "dirty" enough for a modern v8, ie, c63 amg
  12. Careful mate... What you trying to do, start a riot?
  13. no, they just cruise round in first in 30 zones...
  14. I'm bringing many non members, I see it as advertising too... for all those that dont have Z's, here are some reasons to think about it... lol
  15. Its an odd en, but I love the sound of the M3 CSL... wouldnt make the best ever though... for the same reason the z wouldnt... its not nice enough, enough of the time. Link : I would put f type v6 and v8 up for best ever... Love them...
  16. Im only offering this because of the injustice (kinda) I have 3 points for 78 on a motorway.... M4 I find it harsh... I am obviously always sat at 77, and my foot slipped for 1 second and the rest is history... humph
  17. lol it seems that she is a random girl in a car, unaware that she has an obligation to greet all other Z owners as if they are old friends, getting waved at by lads in other Z's.... I bet she is thinking "this never used to happen in my audi" (other manufacturers of generic vehicles are available)
  18. If you would like, I can put you in touch with some people.... Couple of mine love their Clios, they keep buying them (and having to buy new ones) but swear by them. one goes on regular road rally's and keeps up with all sorts of unbelievable stuff... They all have 182's... I think, 1 has a trophy I'm sure they would happily take you on a spin... Are you local to midlands / coming to the Leicester meet?
  19. Someone had cahunez to start tearing up their new 458 like that, hopeful that they could do something better than ferrari... Purely on account of the balls taken to start drilling holes in your new 458, I like it. Seriously though, I think it takes what is a classically beautiful car, and takes it into a different sector of beautiful... "rude" beautiful... and I dont think they compare... Sort of like, what looks better... a hard core r34 or an e type? Finally, lol, Setting is important with a car like this, 458 italia looks good everywhere, in Coventry, on a grey day, the liberty walk ferrari would look silly.
  20. i'll be there! Also should have a fair few mates coming down too... (one of whom is in an s2k, and actually thinks its better than a Z, i'm always giving him sh1t, so feel free) Also people, remember, England are playing Italy the day before.... We will all need each other in those difficult times
  21. Oh damn, firstly, thank you very much for all of your advice. Luxembourg is a definite now... Probably through the route suggested through Belgium and to Germany's oldest town... However, I might aim to do this part of the journey on the way home, and shorten our stay in the north lakes / central italy. I'll speak to Emma tonight and upload an updated route. All of your are legends, thanks! I look forward to more advice ;p
  22. My girlfriend, I and the Zed are going on Holiday to Europe in August. I've read around the forum obv and the net in general. I think I have decided on the below route... Coventry > Nice (2) > Col de Turini (1) > Genoa (1) > FLORENCE (6) > Rimini (1) > Ravenna (1) > North Lakes somewhere (2) > North Italy / Switzerland (2) > Coventry (n) is how many nights we are staying in each place. Bold signifies that those stays are purely for driving roads purposes. Caps means florence is a chilling stay, park up, and don't drive for a couple of days. (Emma's request) I welcome any advice of course, but there are some bits of this journey I really would like advice with : 1, Roads / Hotels / Things to do in Col de Turini? 2, Roads / Hotels / Things to do in North Italy / Switzerland (atm, the only plan is to do stelvio - davos - san bernadino, any other nice roads / places?) 3, Any general recommendations for Italy? (literally as far as towns we should stay in... we are open, we just want Italy.) 4, North Lakes, we have done no research yet, we are just staying here to make our way to Austria / Switzerland... Emma has heard Lake Garda is good. 5, Nice, we are spending one day doing nothing, and then the next going to Monaco and returning to Nice... is this wise? should I stay in Monaco? any recommendations? Things to note, Emma doesn't drive.. So I will be doing it all, hence a lot of stops just to be sure, no commutes but those to Central Europe and back are more than 4 hrs. Thanks for reading.. ;s The route : https://goo.gl/maps/gIR3o
  23. Welcome Enjoy Zeditus
