Seems to run great actually - Im sure theres going to be a few problems - i've only done about 200 miles in it at the moment - Im waiting for a qoute from abbey motorsport to have it all checked over I contacted the previous owner, he assures me its been charged for 5000. I however find this hard to believe, so i refuse to push it until its checked

My fault! Forgot to mention that! The new bonnets going to have to be fitted before I can fit one in.

The bonnets being ripped off and burnt, i'd feel better knowing it doesnt exist anymore. Looking at standard 07 carbon fibre bonnets - if there is no cooling issues which there shouldnt be. its only a matter of time before it causes an accident ;/ Fibreglass bonnets should be banned

Well, Im bored and the zeds just gone into the bodyshop. So i'd thought i'd start a build thread. This came up locally so me and the old man went to take a look. Its a vortech v2 04 Zed, with 38k on the clock. Straight away I could see how much work (and money) I would have to pile into this car to get it to a level that I'm personally happy with (Perfectionist!). It has 20 inch alloys that ruin the handling, it has lots of little dents in and its falling apart, but I could see what it could be. The seller didnt really know what he was talking about, he failed to mention/notice the brembos up front and the exedy clutch booklet in the paperwork, he didnt really know anything about the car. I was a little aprehensive about buying a charged zed with a pretty unknown past but lifes for living and all that rubbish. On the way home the engine light came on (just my luck) after performing the peddle dance the problem was obvious. As a kind gesture the gentleman had put £50 worth of standard unleaded in the car, which caused the car to run like crap! After nursing it home we drained the tank and put some real fuel in and after a few days she ran sweet (By sweet I mean she sounds like a barge - thanks vortech!). Just some photos of the bad bits! A friend of mine got pulled over today for having show plate on his front bumper. Although its easy to get annoyed at police these days that seem to pull modded cars over just for revenue. Its always good to look on the bright-side. For example, Aftermarket Turbos are illegal in California. Cars in Japan are limited to 112 mph Motorbike 'filtering' is illegal in America. France has random mobile speed cameras on any roads. I think sometimes we should consider ourselves lucky. No idea why, it just came to my head haha

4. Vortech v2 Supercharger, no idea about anything else until mark at abbey takes it off the standard vortech fuelling and tunes it correctly! 5k boosted on 36k engine. (which makes me the number 1 candidate of blowing my car up. -.-)

They do a nice Matt grey finish. Think I'm going to start saving!

I'm pretty sure air suspension would ruin the Zeds handling. I've heard bad reports about them, and with a 2.5k price tag it just seems a lot of money. It would be useful for shows etc and clearing that speed bump though!

Edit: just asked the girlfriend (Japanese) - she says that the Japanese is wrong, so it's probably an English or American designer. Which increases your chances haha Japanese on the left reads ice beam (as stated in English) '氷ビーム' Japanese on the bottom I can't make out except for the last part which reads Unit (ユニット) There's more Japanese on it that I can't read, if you have any better images I may be able to help you more. It probably wont, but I hope this helps!

Had my car serviced, new plugs, new belts - the only thing that has not been changed is the supercharger belt as I'm struggling to source one. Can anyone recommend a place to pick one up?
