Brembo website states all calipers are alimunium. Alloys can be anodised I'm sure, so caliper size should not be a problem?

This is a job for you wasso if you can find out, bearing in mind they are porsche 6 pot calipers.

Thinking out loud here, obviously endless brakes are a 'anodised blue'. As I have a big brake kit in need of attention I thought I'd try something a little bit different to paint. I'm guessing the calipers would need to be polished before being anodised? Can anyone offer any advice here? I'd also like to raise the brembo logo as a metal badge rather than just a sticker. I'm slightly strange

Probably because if it where privatized now HMRC would lose out on all that beautiful tax revenue, of course they probably only get about 1% of what's due anyway. That's true, and if it was too cheap we'd have 17 year olds driving round in Zeds spinning out all over the place and government would just put the premiums up anyway. :/

I looked at this combination for a long time. I really like it. However, it seems with the v2 front with chargespeed rear seems a little unbalanced - kind of 'rear- heavy' if you know what in trying to say haha, and a spoiler will further that unbalance.

I know how to do lots of things, but I still pay others to do the odd job. Sometimes it just makes sense, especially jobs that need a car lift I actually have 2 car lifts at my disposal at work, and I'm allowed to use them for free on evenings. I also get parts trade price....which makes it even worse :,(

An evening course is something ill definatley have to consider. My friend recommended buying an old mini with a simple engine and just tinkering with it. I just had 2 CV joints replaced on my van, cost me a fortune, if only I could of done it myself >.<

Basically I've loved performance cars since I was young. However, I'm so jelouse of other people and their knowledge of cars. People on this forum (and the majority it seems) know so much more about cars than me. And to be honest, it makes me feel like a right prat sometimes. I mean, I couldn't change the oil In my car if somebody asked me too. I couldn't change a spark plug either. (This all stemmed from me not being able to take my calipers off to send them off for painting.) I'm just wondering how fellow forum members gained their knowledge. Was it through study, experience or something else? An anybody offer me any tips or advice to learning my way around simple car tasks? Thanks

My search skills have failed me once again. It has only just ccurred to me after ordering an ings rear, the registration plate recess probably isn't to a UK standard. What is the best way to legally fix this? Thanks in advance, Ben
