  1. OK......it seems that every time I take the Z out.......I get a **** behind me. This week every day I've had a car swerving in my mirrors as to overtake, a white van man, a Honda prelude and a small white car.....sitting up my arse...why are these cars such magnets for morons to tailgate ? Dread taking it out lol
  2. Welcome on board.......it's a great forum...
  3. Go via insurance ! Then your covered for any probs along the way All the best
  4. Will do buddy.......just wanna keep on top of things and keep improving the old girl . Out of interest can Molyslip be put in with the Diff oil ?
  5. Cheers guys.....looks like a thumbs up for the Molyslip. My Z is a bit clunky going into second, so getting it done must help a bit
  6. Hi all, now I'm looking at changing the above oils....even though a guy at work said they are pointless changing ? So my Z will be 12 years old later this year.......with 50k on the clock.....I've had it for 30 months.....it's had a full service history, so my question is should I put Molyslip in the gearbox as well ? Taking the above into account Cheers Mark
  7. I was a few cars behind you heading towards the Roundabout at 5 ish on Thursday ?
  8. This is awesome, how much did the front re spray cost you? I got a great deal......I was desperate to get it done, but quotes were coming in at 700 to 800 quid. After chatting to them and going to see them a couple of times the guy just said look we will do it for you and for a great price. I had the Bonnet, both front wings and the front bumper all done for the grand total of £400 including VAT. Great guys and they did a fantastic job the match is AWSOME you would never know . They had the front bumper off and a complete rub down to eliminate the chips. They are in Bexhill on sea. There was a rather nice Aston Martin being done as mine was in there. I think I was in the right place at the right time lol
  9. When I got my Z back in 2012 it did have a lot of stone chips on the bumper....bonnet and a few on the front wings.....I had them re sprayed a few months after so after 7k.......I can report only 1 small stone chip........the key is to keep a certain distance of the car in front.......and a BIG distance with trucks . The first pic is when I had the re spray and after 18 months later the last pics with the poor paper stuck over the number plate is as it now lol No change other than the 1 stone chip lol
  10. Hi.......saw you today at about 2:20 pm as I was driving towards Glyn Gap roundabout ! I was driving the sunset orange (ginger lol )
  11. Pratts are sadly all to common when driving the Z. Just this week I left my house in the morning and no sooner had I pulled out onto the main road I could see in my rear view mirror some headlights that were a fair distance away (with fog lights on) hurtling up behind me.....sat up my arse.......then flawed it overtaking me.....all done in a 30 zone......it was a tatty Honda Prelude. Number one was that I' was not going to exceed the speed limit, and number two was that my engine wasn't up to temp anyways ! Why do people do it......makes em look like total c--ts to be honest......Ggrrhhhhh
  12. My DE DOSNT use any ! 4k a year and never have to top up before the services
  13. Trust me Buddy ! The Heng Long Tiger 1.....in 1/16 scale is a cracking Tank. There are loads of upgrades to convert the plastic BB firing one into a heavyweight metal running brute. Adding metal tracks and wheels alone add a few pounds. I think mine at the moment is just around 1 stone in weight, and goes over most things in the garden........it's got the upgraded steel gearboxes. ( that's a must when adding all the extra weight) and I've reinforced the chassis with metal struts also so the chassis DOSNT flex . There's loads you can do.....I've got links to where you can get all the mods".............check out Fleebay for used Heng Long as some sell with many mods done ! Cheers for now
  14. Great stuff guys.......I've got one of those Heng Long tiger tanks ....I stripped out the insides, and started to replicate the interior with the main gun and crew......it's a work in progress.....but well heavy with metal tracks, body, steel gear boxes and wheels.....good job we enjoy these mad hobbies lol

  19. All new and shinny.......then the dreaded rusting is added Here's another little one of my toys lol...........it's an RC off shore power boat.......56 inches Long and 18 inches wide at the widest point. Bit of a beast....with a few mods......28cc petrol engine....bloody loud Custom paint job [/url Was thing of an RC Submarine next.......I know what your gonna say......WHATS THE POINT LOL
