  1. Checked every plug / sensor and there all connected and fairly idiot proof. Can't understand how it ran (badly, but ran) then wouldn't , now after aligning the fly correctly iv lost spark and fuel ?
  2. Basically , car started burning oil and producing blue smoke so stripped her down for a full rebuild. Renewed all the gaskets etc/rings, honed it and what not. Put it back together , refitted it this weekend aaaaand won't run. Cranks but that's it, please read my tale and help me before I cry So the engines in, wired / plumbed etc but it won't run, This is what happened ... Fitted engine , tried to sart it and it cranks no problem but wouldn't run. After numerous checks and petrol cans it started but wouldn't idle ... After a few more attempts I got her started and could rev it (only to 1500-2k so no high rev chaos) and hold it there,but if I let the revs drop below 1200 it would stall. After this it wouldn't idle / start ,just cranking. After LOTS of head scratching and checking it had a spark / fuel (it had both at this point) we checked cam timing and that was fine, last resort was the flywheel not being timed correctly so pulled box it off and it wasn't on the timing marks. Removed / refitted it and now I have a engine that cranks fine but no spark and no fuel, no error codes but I can't get a live feed from my local garage. Any thoughts ?

  5. Had a few questions about the bore of the 'Dual, Majority of it is 2"bore , some sections are 2.25" however which I think is ok since there's a exhaust 'per bank? Feel free to shoot me down tho folks

  9. So I bought a K1 and its just too loud for me (ghey I know lol) so it's going back up. Good condition , back boxes are still super shiney with bungs. I can supply bolts but you'll need to get your own gaskets (peanuts) Also have a unbranded true dual which is cat back (flexi's dont appear to be blowing but are a mess -cars pretty low). Given that the flexi's are going to need replacing soon I don't want much, it sounded amazing on the car till I fitted decats , made it too loud so it's got to go aswel Flexi's Collection preferred due to size / weight / chew on bagging them up and waiting for a courier but postage MAY be possible...   12. Cheers guys , iv jumped on Wasso's spacer group buy. Think il stick with de-cats tho , I work in a garage so it's not a massive deal if I need to change back to the original cats for mot. Still need to get the Uprev done tho, won't be till after the spacer comes which will be December time.
  13. Niko , if you don't mind me asking how much is it for the Uprev ATM ? Interested in getting mine done by them ASAP , tried emailing last week but no reply. Probably try the old dog and bone method some time this week. Look forward to seeing your results as I'm going to be looking at similar results from my mods
  14. Hey folks, well the time has come to make the most of what I have, already have a true dual system/pop charger so the next step is plenum spacer and either HFC's or decats. Anybody reccomend a decent spacer as Ive seen there's a few on the market, Also arguments for and against Decats over the HFC's. I have a sympathetic MOT man so emissions isn't a problem, if the gains are similar I would rather opt for the Decats as there 1/3 the price. Finally anybody reccomend anywhere to do the Uprev? I'm in Newcastle Upon Tyne so the closer the better but I'm leaning towards RS at the moment due to there reputation. Any info is greatly appreciated folks
  15. The carbon duct is from Evo in the USA, my buddy posted it over for me As for the wheels , I 'think' there off the 535d but not 100% There getting painted again soon as there pretty marked up , just the way they were when I got them... I'm no curb feeler lol
