  1. When the voting has decided it, we want you to tell us which way you secretly wanted it to go. I think i know your answer already tbh
  2. Spoilers/wings are a very personal thing. Im uber fussy about spoilers but imvho that particular one is made for you Zed mate. Gorgeous!! Your 350 is about the nicest i've seen too btw Marco
  3. Interesting George. I'm not an expert, just telling it honestly as i've found it! Re the 20mm Eibach Hub-centrics on the back (which i have too) >>> I just dropped a level down from the outside of my wheelarch to the extreme outer lip of my Bridgestone Potenza. Mine are sitting 1mm OVER the flush. Btw... Car was on a perfectly level surface when i did this At -2deg 25' on both sides, I am running slightly out of tolerance with my camber too. Think i am right in saying that if i fit rear camber adjusters (which i WILL need to take her back to standard nominal spec) then it will push the top outside of the tyre out even more. Nissans spec for the rear is Minium -2deg 1' Nominal -1deg 55' Maximum -1deg 11' I think Scottys idea of first getting just the one set of 25m spacers & experimenting might be right way to go. Im really happy with how mine is sitting. Just keeping an eye open for any excessive tyre wear on the inside due to being slightly out of OEM with my rear camber. Marco
  4. Scotty Im lowered 30mm on Eibachs. After much deliberation i opted for 25mm spacers on the front & 20mm on the back. That configuration will take you perfectly flush with the arches all round. Not sure which 'system type' of spacers Mitz sent out to me but i can tell you that mine all bolted on without a hitch (no studs needed replacing) Smart move removing the front tyre guards & lip because if left 'as stock' they WILL rub....I have left mine on but cut them down considerably! You might well get some rubbing on the front wheel arch liners when your swifts are sharply compressed during driving. This can happen with both the 20 and 25mm spacers, have to say that mine only rubbed a tiny bit at the point where ther bumper is fixed to the front wing. The liner bulges out slightly at this point to accomodate for a fastening. See how you go & if you have any problems give me a shout because i have found an easy & effective way around this. Marco
  5. Nice work Colin & you are pretty much bang on the money mate. I had exactly this concern when i was originally going to fit my 20mm Eibach spacers onto the front of my 370! CS did a lot of digging to find out exactly what the issue was with these spacers & below is their reply to me ... The 1 set of 20mm spacers that I have sent you may or may not fit the fronts, they are the correct fitment for the car, it’s the 370z wheels that they fowl on, as the wheels don’t have a big enough recess for the original studs to sit inside. With that said above, the ones we have sent you do fit some cars and don’t on others, so the only reasoning behind this is the wheels maybe differ in design on the inside of the front wheels! They will however most difinitely fit onto the rear of your car with no issues I actually tried (as a test) the 20mm spacers onto the front of my Zed & hey presto... the wheel sat down flush & tight onto the spacer Guess i must be one of the lucky ones
  6. Cheers for the reply Scotty It did scrape at first, but its been fine since i cut the rubber flexi down underneath the the front bumper. Basically i snipped away the two extreme edges (that jut down further than the rest of the flexi) & then i took another 3mm off right across the whole lot, blending it in nice & evenly using a polifan flap disc. I also cut a 28mm strip off the front tyre protecter rubbers too Only slight / occasional problem i have found since lowering & spacing (25mm front 20mm back) is that the outside of my Potenza's can tickle the nobbly bit at the top of the front wheel arch liners. There is a small visible graze on both sides in this position which is on the verge of breaking right through. I reckon that changing the 25mm spacers for 20mm spacers will sort this out & also give me enough leeway to correct the negative camber at the front without touching on the above part of the arch liner again. Despite these little niggles there is absolutely no way i am going back to standard ride height. I love the stance of my Zed the way it is right now & so does everybody else Is yours lowered too Scotty?...How have you found it?
  7. Need to put this question 'out there' & gather a few opinions from those in the know. I recently lowered my 370z GT using the Eibach pro Kit springs & then spaced out @ 20mm back & 25mm front. I am well chuffed with the result. See Pics below... Today i had a full geomerty check performed at considerable expense. Everything was adjusted to back to factory standards EXCEPT the camber! The guys used all the adjustment at the rear to obtain a 'near as possible' reading. As for the front...well it seems that isn't adjustable so had to be left as it was. The standard camber settings for the 370z i obtained from Nissan are- FRONT Minus 2 Deg 1' (minimum) Minus 1 Deg 55' (Nominal) Minus 1 Deg 11' (maximum) REAR Minus 1 Deg 41' (minimum) Minus 0 Deg 67' (Nominal) Plus 0 Deg 08' (maximum) My actual camber readings as of now are- Left Front Minus 2 Deg 15' Right Front Minus 2 deg 37' Left Rear Minus 2 Deg 20' Right Rear Minus 2 Deg 35' Q1) Are my current readings likely to give me a problem in driving or on tyre wear? Q2) If the above readings do give me a problem, what is the best or most cost efficient fix... Adjustable suspension arms or adjustable top hat mounts?? All your views very much appreciated Cheers Mark
  8. More than happy mate. Do you have a 370 yourself?

  10. Agreed...i went with Direct Line & ended up switching to Chris Knott after 3 weeks! The cheeky sods were asking extortionate amounts extra for making mods. £250 extra infact for lowering alone!! Jeez my premium was only £430 in the first place Even more ridiculous, they wern't bothered about wheel spacers because apparently they don't have an entry for those on their system!! Really cant work out their logic. In short Chris Knott got me sorted out with Highway Insurance. Their premium was only £50 more than my original Direct Line price. Mods (with them) only make a very small difference to the quote price. Sorted
  11. They say that the first step to treating any addiction is to recognise & accept. With that in mind>>> "MY NAME IS MARK and I HAVE ZEDITIS"
  12. England played the last 1 1/4 hours looking for the game to go to penalties. That tells you it all....Time to go home!!
  13. Does anyone know for sure wether Milltek have a developed a catback system for the 370z yet? I'd certainly be interested in one if they do! Cheers Mark
  14. 7 posts in & my posts still have to be review/approved by admin before they're submitted. Whats all that about . I read it was just a 5 post rule!!?? Am i not to be trusted or something
  15. Hello from another West Coaster - Workington. A few 350's round here now but not so many 370's as you say. You shouldn't be too hard to spot. Hi Richie... Not been through to Workington for ages. Used to be thru there all the time when i used to see a girl who lived on Cockfield Drive (Hey you lot...that is genuinely the name of the street so no smutty comments ok!!! Ps Lovin my 370
  16. To anyone interested.....here is a view of my 370 from the rear/side. Not met anyone yet that doesn't like the Nismo S-Tune wing... OR maybe they're to polite to tell me they think its crap
  17. Hi mate, west coaster here, there's a couple of us from the Egremont-Maryport area. I've been known to organise the odd meet, so keep 'em peeled. ---------------------------------------------------- AK350Z...sounds good mate keep me posted. I'm actually in Wigton btw so only 20mins away from Maryport. Slightly further away from Mont. Not too many 'Z's up here. Nice to have something abit different
  18. Thanks for the warm welcome. I can see i'm going to like it on here So JAY ...Your thinking of going from a 370 to a Cayman S yeah. Mine was a Gen 1 Cayman S 2006 (Artic Silver) My view...both great cars. Only reason i decided to part company with my Porsche was due to the fact it was showing the startings of a input shaft problem in the gearbox..Ouch!!! Think a deal on the Nissan was the right way to go. FWIW This is the way i see it> Nissan Plus points-- slightly faster, definitly more comfortable to drive including the ride (porsche had a choppy ride), Fuel economy very similar (despite what the figures say), Better interior (prob due to the fact it is a newer car), More aggressive looking (seems to be admired more by younger people where the Porsche tended to appeal to the over 40's), More effective Aircon unit, Better Bose system, Cheaper servicing/parts. Porsche plus points -- Prestige of the badge, Handled slightly better (probably due to flat 6 mid engine configuration), Begs to be driven, Could perhaps say it was slightly more fun due to intoxicating progressive roar from the exhaust. Possibly depreciates less than a 'Z' (though it is only the 911's that keep depreciation down to a minimum), Rear parking sensors. Thats all i can think of for now but im sure there'll be more. Any further questions fire away
  19. I'm still trying to work out how to upload pics Neil. Any tips on a quick way to do it?
  20. Hi all Thought it only right that i finally quickly introduce myself on here. My name is Mark & i'm from up near Carlisle. Anyone else here from my neck o the woods? Parted company with my Porsche Cayman S about 3 weeks ago. Did a deal with a trader down in Surrey on an 09 370z GT (met twighlight grey) FNSH & only 8k miles on he clock All pretty standard except mine has the Nismo S-Tune rear spoiler fitted which (for me) makes what is already an awesome car look even meaner Chuffed to bits with it & so far its all good. Had an initial worry Re a slightly rough transmission sound during idleing with the clutch released (ie in the up position) but the workshop controller at my local main dealer told me that what i'm hearing is 100% normal on these boxes>>>>Phew, Kindda relieved about that!! Still had the noise logged though. I've already been in touch with some dealers on here about mods. Specifically lowering my 'Z' with the Eibach Pro Kit springs. Also probably fitting Eibach 25mm wheel spacers too. Lots of other ideas for the future of course. I was ready order these mods today but thought it might be a good idea to check with my insurers (Direct Line) first to see how they viewed a/m mods....OMG can you believe they are asking me for £250+ just for doing the lowering mod! That takes the P***!!! You don't want to know how much extra they'd need from me if i wanted to fit an aftermarket cat back exhaust!! Going to call some other insurers tomorrow (including two who are affiliated to this site) to see what they can offer me. Cheers for reading & apologies for the rather long 'quick introduction' Mark
