  1. I honestly do feel your pain mate. If i was to write this forum what my feelings are towards these parasites then i would be banned for life from posting. I hope on hope that there is a happy ending ending to this, weather it be a recovery (totally unmolested) or an extremely generous pay out from your insureres so that you can move on to something equally stunning. Heartfelt good luck Marco
  2. I've listened to the sound clips via my iphone & my desktop. Sound is much more realistic through the decent audio on my d/top!

  4. OK so today the forecast advised it would be just about suitable to shoot a few videos of my new Milltek Resonated. Maybe a tad too windy for perfection, but given the time of year i reckon this is about as good as it'll get up here wheather wise. Mitz advised that it would take time for the final tone to evolve on Millteks. Almost 3 weeks now since fitting & the Milltek just 'keeps giving'!!! Maybe in a couple more weeks it will have settled to its final pitch & it is then i will make my decision about weather to go the whole hog & bag myself a set of Berks HFC's too. At the moment i'm well happy with it just the way it is.....Huge difference from stock Hope everyone's able to view these ok (two more to follow) Vid 1 Cold start with gentle revving (stationary on choke) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpNkbbOpfa8 Vid 2 Standing start http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RykQyrYV1Y
  5. Ditto.....i think perhaps your high horn has blown in this case. On my previous car (Porsche cayman S) the low horn went leaving me with only a high horn that made an embarrassing toot akin to a kiddies pedal car! Lol

    tyres?

Sounds good.....Wonder how far i'd have to travel to find a 'Michelin' garage though?

    tyres?

Nice one....Thanks for that, i will check them all out. I'm actually only 30mins away from Camskill anyway. I imagine they'd do a good deal for buying + fitting ie 'The full package'

    tyres?

Intertesting....My 370GT also needs new boots soon & i'm looking to move away from the roadnoise of the Stones. Are you sticking to the same spec as the OEM? ie 275/35 R19 (front) & 245/40 R19 (rear) I'm guessing a set of Michelin Pilot SS will be over 1k. What price have you found the Sessanta's to be? Marco
  9. I will definitely sort this out v soon guys. Hopefully this weekend weather permitting. I would like to do a clip of the Milltek at cold start on the choke. Stationary revving when warm & also a clip of the sound 'in motion'
  10. Another deserved positive addition to this thread from myself for the very warm welcome from all at CS on what was my first visit to their place. It was a pleasure to finally meet Mitz Nita & Andy last Thursday for the fitment of my new Miltek resonated system which i also purchased through themselves. Think i'm right in thinking that my 370 is probably the first in the country to have the new Miltek (resonated) fitted! Speaking from personal experience i will echo what others have said already in that i cannot pick a single fault with any of the numerous dealings i have had with Cougar store. Courteous, efficient, professional & most importantly they really do care about Zeds Only wish i lived a little closer....The 450 mile round trip from North Cumbria was worth it but boy was i cream crackered by the time i arrived back home!! Keep up the good work Mitz. Thanks again Marco
  11. I will post up a video a few weeks down the line guys. If past experience is anything to go by it will probably take that amount of time for the tone to reach maturity
  12. Absolutely no offence taken Vik . Agree'd... the tips (tailpipes) don't look fantastic from the angle shown. However they do look better in the flesh viewed from level / above. They are not 'beautiful' but i'm fine with them. Early impressions....marked improvment from stock tone. Obviously still bedding in, but at this stage i would say my Z has been 'de-corked' & now sounds more like a 3.7 V6 should. ZERO drone under load. Sounding particulaly nice using my GT's Synchro Rev (which i have on all the time) Cabin noise almost identical to stock whislt motorway cruising but during more spirited driving she is now begging me for more!! ...Mildly intoxicating Big thanks to Mitz & Andy for everything (great people). Updates to follow in due course & a worthy addition will be made to the CS appreciation thread. Marco
  13. I think your eyesight might be going las Not a***d to argue my point. Im happy Jay. Personal preference matey
  14. Love my Nismo S-Tune wing. Not at all 'big' looking in the flesh i can assue you. Rear wing + Lowered + Spaced = 370 perfection for me All about personal preference i guess. My Z causes a stir wherever i go (in a good way)
  15. Mitz....talking of nice sounding exhausts
  16. When the voting has decided it, we want you to tell us which way you secretly wanted it to go. I think i know your answer already tbh
  17. Spoilers/wings are a very personal thing. Im uber fussy about spoilers but imvho that particular one is made for you Zed mate. Gorgeous!! Your 350 is about the nicest i've seen too btw Marco
  18. Interesting George. I'm not an expert, just telling it honestly as i've found it! Re the 20mm Eibach Hub-centrics on the back (which i have too) >>> I just dropped a level down from the outside of my wheelarch to the extreme outer lip of my Bridgestone Potenza. Mine are sitting 1mm OVER the flush. Btw... Car was on a perfectly level surface when i did this At -2deg 25' on both sides, I am running slightly out of tolerance with my camber too. Think i am right in saying that if i fit rear camber adjusters (which i WILL need to take her back to standard nominal spec) then it will push the top outside of the tyre out even more. Nissans spec for the rear is Minium -2deg 1' Nominal -1deg 55' Maximum -1deg 11' I think Scottys idea of first getting just the one set of 25m spacers & experimenting might be right way to go. Im really happy with how mine is sitting. Just keeping an eye open for any excessive tyre wear on the inside due to being slightly out of OEM with my rear camber. Marco
  19. Scotty Im lowered 30mm on Eibachs. After much deliberation i opted for 25mm spacers on the front & 20mm on the back. That configuration will take you perfectly flush with the arches all round. Not sure which 'system type' of spacers Mitz sent out to me but i can tell you that mine all bolted on without a hitch (no studs needed replacing) Smart move removing the front tyre guards & lip because if left 'as stock' they WILL rub....I have left mine on but cut them down considerably! You might well get some rubbing on the front wheel arch liners when your swifts are sharply compressed during driving. This can happen with both the 20 and 25mm spacers, have to say that mine only rubbed a tiny bit at the point where ther bumper is fixed to the front wing. The liner bulges out slightly at this point to accomodate for a fastening. See how you go & if you have any problems give me a shout because i have found an easy & effective way around this. Marco
  20. Nice work Colin & you are pretty much bang on the money mate. I had exactly this concern when i was originally going to fit my 20mm Eibach spacers onto the front of my 370! CS did a lot of digging to find out exactly what the issue was with these spacers & below is their reply to me ... The 1 set of 20mm spacers that I have sent you may or may not fit the fronts, they are the correct fitment for the car, it’s the 370z wheels that they fowl on, as the wheels don’t have a big enough recess for the original studs to sit inside. With that said above, the ones we have sent you do fit some cars and don’t on others, so the only reasoning behind this is the wheels maybe differ in design on the inside of the front wheels! They will however most difinitely fit onto the rear of your car with no issues I actually tried (as a test) the 20mm spacers onto the front of my Zed & hey presto... the wheel sat down flush & tight onto the spacer Guess i must be one of the lucky ones
  21. Cheers for the reply Scotty It did scrape at first, but its been fine since i cut the rubber flexi down underneath the the front bumper. Basically i snipped away the two extreme edges (that jut down further than the rest of the flexi) & then i took another 3mm off right across the whole lot, blending it in nice & evenly using a polifan flap disc. I also cut a 28mm strip off the front tyre protecter rubbers too Only slight / occasional problem i have found since lowering & spacing (25mm front 20mm back) is that the outside of my Potenza's can tickle the nobbly bit at the top of the front wheel arch liners. There is a small visible graze on both sides in this position which is on the verge of breaking right through. I reckon that changing the 25mm spacers for 20mm spacers will sort this out & also give me enough leeway to correct the negative camber at the front without touching on the above part of the arch liner again. Despite these little niggles there is absolutely no way i am going back to standard ride height. I love the stance of my Zed the way it is right now & so does everybody else Is yours lowered too Scotty?...How have you found it?
  22. Need to put this question 'out there' & gather a few opinions from those in the know. I recently lowered my 370z GT using the Eibach pro Kit springs & then spaced out @ 20mm back & 25mm front. I am well chuffed with the result. See Pics below... Today i had a full geomerty check performed at considerable expense. Everything was adjusted to back to factory standards EXCEPT the camber! The guys used all the adjustment at the rear to obtain a 'near as possible' reading. As for the front...well it seems that isn't adjustable so had to be left as it was. The standard camber settings for the 370z i obtained from Nissan are- FRONT Minus 2 Deg 1' (minimum) Minus 1 Deg 55' (Nominal) Minus 1 Deg 11' (maximum) REAR Minus 1 Deg 41' (minimum) Minus 0 Deg 67' (Nominal) Plus 0 Deg 08' (maximum) My actual camber readings as of now are- Left Front Minus 2 Deg 15' Right Front Minus 2 deg 37' Left Rear Minus 2 Deg 20' Right Rear Minus 2 Deg 35' Q1) Are my current readings likely to give me a problem in driving or on tyre wear? Q2) If the above readings do give me a problem, what is the best or most cost efficient fix... Adjustable suspension arms or adjustable top hat mounts?? All your views very much appreciated Cheers Mark
  23. Wanted to give MASSIVE Thanks to Mitz at CS for helping me out with the project as titled. It really does ‘make the difference' to deal with a trader who is passionate & knowledgeable about these wonderful cars. Through every step of the process Mitz was prepared to go the extra mile. He took the time read my correspondence & thoroughly answer my somewhat endless questions! Emails & PM's were answered almost immediately...An extremely professional outfit!! Very very fair people to deal with--Pricings are more than competitive (believe me i shop around) & delivery is made at warp factor speed Perfect!! I am more than pleased with the outcome & definitely have no regrets. The stance of my 370 has been transformed imho Ok ok ....so you want to see some pics right? The 1st image was taken before my Zed was lowered/spaced & the others were taken post mods....
