  1. I just saw that in an upadate on yours, looks good
  2. What you doing with the old diffuser you had on there then
  3. It's looks that win the day for me not how fast I could travel down an A or B road but if I was looking at a sensible choice out of the suggestions here then I would go for the 370, then again I tend not to choose sensible cars so would spend my 25K on one I listed earlier.
  4. Might as well buy an MX5 then, if we're going to start worrying about not being able to use all the abilities of the car. You can't get anywhere near either the 350 or 370 limits on the road, which kinda makes your point redundant Exactly right, I dont get anywhere near the Zeds limit on the road ( couldnt afford to lose my licence) but then I dont worry about it either cos thats what track days and competing is for. I just like to drive something a little different thats not so popular and thats why we are all different. I didnt buy the Zed for its performance I purchased it because its different to the normal Boxster's, RX7's and the like that litter my way.
  5. Ekona, I understand what you are saying about Porsche as drivers cars but these days unless you do track days, you cant exploit the cars full abilities and stay within the speed limit etc and IMO if your into track days then the choice is a Caterham or similar. My needs and desire is to have something a little different to drive and as good as a Porsche is, I would not choose to follow the pack but have something different, poseur car or not, actually I always fancied myself as a poseur!
  6. Would not go for a Porsche, far too many of them round our way, we call them Canford Cliffs Cortinas, purchased purely for the badge not the driving abilities, I prefer to be a little different so would look at Maserati, Aston Martin, TVR, Noble or even a Dodge Challanger Hemi.
  7. Its really only the warning lights on all the time thats a pain for us, the door locking does not really effect it too much but the early ones can be prone to all sorts of niggling problems so better to go for as new a one you can afford. Have heard stories of early ones that unlock themselves and open the windows and roof. Oh I forgot, the seats can before stuck in upright position because the racket mech in the seat backs f***s up, this is a pain as new seat frames are around 300.00, there is a way to get them working again but its a bit brutal, worked on ours though when the seats did get stuck upright.
  8. My other half has a Cooper, main problems we have: Central locking only locks and does not un-lock the doors. ABS, Traction and low tyre pressure warning lights always on, at last mot nearly £800 spent to replace speed sensors, front hub etc, lights stayed off for 2 months and then back on again been like this for nearly two years now on & off. Its an auto and when reversing it can become very jerky and juddery but she still loves it to bits.
  9. where about you based Hooch, if not far from me in Bournemouth, happy to meet up, I have non res cobra.
  10. Unless you purchase your Super from a forecourt with a very high turnover of product, it is more than likely that the Super you put in your tank has actually evaporated so much on it's "light ends" that, it is in fact no longer 97/98 RON but much less.
  11. Personally I have always disliked the rear 3/4 view around the arches to the hatchback and small side window, to me the rear wings too large to what they should be but this nismo version does look the nuts, with the body kit etc.
  12. Picture does not do it any justice, lovely looking car.
  13. Hmmmm which terminal you at mate, I plan loads for Texaco. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4 Esso Fawley site.
  14. So the wife and I take the dog out for a walk tonight and I see a couple of houses down from ours the neighbour has a nice shiny new 370 Nismo.
  15. There are so few sites for petroleum companies to load Super unleaded these days that in most cases its all the same, I see on a daily basis, Shell, Murco, Sainsbury, etc etc etc come into our site to load, its the magic of marketing if you think its all different.
  16. 15 months of ownership and I still look at the reflection in shop windows
  17. It was not driver error but suspension failure, still a blow when your looking to compet for 24 hrs and the cars out only a few hours into it.
  18. I was there for that one, it was one of Bob's RJN Motorsport cars and a right mess.
  19. I can vouch for the non resonated Cobra system, quiet enough around town not to draw attention, does not drone at all and plenty loud enough when you put your foot down, excellent value for money.
  20. Only 7 miles and it took me nearly an hour via Lyndhurst, loving the sound, need to find a tunnel now!
  21. I don't @ OP Nice to see you again mate Just the pads springs and those lovely wheels I'm holding for you to fit then Bloody fisherman, didn't even need a maggot on the line to get me to bite
