  1. So I've been meaning to write a little build thread about my new Zed for a while so hear goes! I'll try and fly through it a bit so its not too boring for you to read...... Bit of background: I've owned a 2004 DE Zed since 2012 and I carried out quite a few choice mods on that and learned a lot from that car too. In Oct 2015 I saw an ad for a totally stock 2008 HR Zed, 1 owner from new 26k miles and a full nissan dealer service history. So after taking a look the car was bought, collected and stored at my mums while I stripped the DE car of parts I could sell and parts I could swap over...... Once the DE was sold I bought the HR home and along with the parts that I already had and was transferring onto this car there was now a pile of new parts I'd acquired in the few months that had past addressing all the fixes to weaker areas I'd felt that the DE car had and so making the HR “THE†Zed for my use. On arrival looking filthy and in need of a wash before work begins! http://i.imgur.com/T4S0OsKl.jpg First major job was I wanted the whole car rebushed, suspension, diff rear subframe the lot, so I chose the whiteline black range and set to it. Was really impressed with the whiteline bushes so much beefier than the stock items with way less space to flex and move around the fit on all of them was spot on too. http://i.imgur.com/VAdgg0Bl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/bAFt9Gsl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/1zEILc8l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/SpTXmktl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/cilkrpfl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/GJ6FtRkl.jpg I already had my Bilstein B14 kit to go on, I was tightening up the chassis with the bushes and knowing I was going to have the alignment all set up to suit a bit of track work once all the work had been finished I thougth I'd aim for some better results by adding a few SPL suspension components to the mix http://i.imgur.com/uu20Uvjl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/d35eYeUl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/5LvA5Pil.jpg Chassis done, it was time to move on to the drivetrain. Having done a bit of homework and research on the HR cars I knew the clutch slave cylinder was a known problem and along with wanting an uprated clutch and single mass flywheel there was only one (very perfect solution) the Xtreme kit! http://i.imgur.com/5l1O0rAl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Faa3Pg8l.jpg http://i.imgur.com/vlRWeutl.jpg Continued...........................
  2. Cheers for getting in touch Adrian appreciate it, I have managed to get it quite a bit cheaper and quicker though this time round so have ordered it up Alex, they are now 56mm cores so that should keep things nice and cool on track!
  3. Thank you but as Alex says the Koyo is the one I'm after. I didn't realise it was available in different size though, cheers. Does anybody know where I can get one from? Any traders on here? Cheers
  4. Morning, as title really, who can supply these and price please? Cheers, Martin
  5. Selling these tyres from my Nismo LMGT4 wheels, these were purchased by myself March 2015 and have covered roughly 5000miles only. They are in great condition and not perished, cracked etc They have no damage, have no puncture repairs and are worn evenly across on all 4. P Zero's have great performance in dry and wet conditions and are as good as you'd ever need on the road. Sizes: Front Pirelli P Zero 245-35R19 93Y with approx 6mm tread remaining of 8.5mm new Rear Pirelli P Zero 275-35R19 100Y with approx 5mm tread remaining of 8mm new RRP on Camskill.com £665 £250 collection from Warwick
  6. As title with 225/45 18 and 245/40 18 tyres I bought these as a second set to use the wider rears as fronts (hence slightly wrong profile for rears) and I never used the fronts at all. They have been used for several track days so the rears have heavy brake dust to insides and laquer has peeled in few spots (see pics) The front are in much better condition as have only seen normal road use and non aggressive brake dust. They are straight and have not been curbed Tyres have loads of tread on Bridgestone 050 front Pirelli P zero rear £250 collected, located in Warwick Thanks for looking
  7. Leaving it all day at a 1 bar with no drop is proof enough that the system is free from leaks. Using the boiler on hot water only doesn't heat enough volume to water to raise the pressure so all is well, it will only be a problem with heating. If you can get to the pressure relief pipework I've zip tied a bag over the end of it in the past just to 100% test to see if its dumping water through it. Most boilers are an 8ltr expansion tank some 10ltr which is good for 80-100ltr of system volume, which using no science at all is usually ok upto 16ish rads Just as a note also, if sometimes does come and pump up the vessel (which is fine as some do just go flat after a few years) make sure they blow the pressure out of the system and leave an open end like a drain hose or manually open the pressure relief valve so it pumps out the water in the vessel as you pump it up and you get the correct reading otherwise its a pointless exercise and you'll be led down the road again. Good luck mate
  8. Hi, Sounds to me like it could well be that the expansion vessel on your boiler has lost its air charge, this means the system water has no where to expand to and causes pressure to rise (over 3bar) on heat up and slowly drip away out the pressure relief valve pipework. Easy enough to check if this is going on. Can you see where the 15mm copper pipe/ pressure relief pipework goes? (Usually straight through the wall from boiler) See if its dripping at all as that will be your "leak" All the time its hot its OK and only drops down to 0bar on cool down as its lost an amount of water while hot. Hope that helps (and makes sense), let me know how you get on Martin
  9. Yes you just reuse your bolts to install these arms
  10. Selling these tyres from my Nismo LMGT4 wheels, these were removed when I had the wheels refurbished and then I fitted new. Tyres are free front damage, have no puncture repairs and are worn evenly across on all 4 Sizes: Front Falken FK452 245-35R19 93Y with 5mm tread remaining Rear Falken FK452 275-35R19 96Y with 4mm tread remaining £95 collection from Warwick Forgive bad pics! Weather is horrible! 2nd pic is of a front 3rd pic is a rear
  11. Eibach rear camber arms to fit all 350z, bought new early 2015, only covered 2000miles approx so in great condition, still easily adjusted and bushes are perfect. Please note this does not include the toe bolts that commonly come when ordering these arms, however I managed to get the desired toe angle with 25-30mm drop from standard adjuster Some info from internet: This is the perfect kit for the lowered Z. Provides plenty of adjustment for camber Rear Adjustment range: Camber +/-4.00 degree Installation time: .6 hr/side Kit includes left and right rear. £75+10postage or collection from Warwick area
  12. Horsham Developments plenum spacer in great condition, contains everything to fit straight to your car. Bought new and fitted on my car for 2 years, only selling due to changing to HR car. H-Dev comments: Our in house developed 8mm Plenum Spacer kit is precision cut and dyno proven. It can increase power and torque on a standard or modified 350z engine. It does this by increasing the volume of the inlet plenum which, as standard, is restrictive. Kit Contents: Precision Water Cut 8mm Alloy Plenum Spacer Precision cut gasket Alloy Strut Bar Spacers Internal Nylon Plenum Spacers Complete bolt and washer set. £95, would prefer collection from Warwick area
  13. Hope you had a good day out with the Zed It's such a great circuit, glad you got some dry time in though as its a scary place in the wet eh
