  1. Pleasure to be a part of it! Looking forward to doing it again! To my workings there's 2630hp in that picture..........not a bad average at nearly 440hp per car
  2. Sure has Dave! Cheers! Its in good company at that pace......and if I can did dip under with a bit of weight loss then you're entering some serious big boy levels. I think its in a sweet spot where it is power wise and the way it delivers it too
  3. Cheers!! Sorry been really slack on updates. Life has been incredibly busy with a stressful house move thrown in for good measure. That all said I did get to enjoy the car a little, few runs out on the road and then an 1800mile round trip to Scotland which @nissanman312 organised with a few great lads with a combination of great cars...........and an Audi TT. Was initially a little apprehensive about taking the trip given the car had so much new stuff on it and having only covered few hundred miles at that point but thought lets do it, got myself some get me and the car home recovery and brimmed the tank with Vpower............its sh*t or bust time!! Pleased to say we had a great trip and the car was faultless, engine strong and working the gearbox was a joy with the new CAE shifter......the only thing I wasn't totally convinced of was the new set of Goodyear Supersports I'd fitted. I'm not sure if it was just a combination of not driving it for so long, not being on real road tyres for a decade with the Z and as a result having geometry setup for track tyres but that aside the pace was plenty good enough to enjoy and work the car and it was great! Sadly didn't have the time to get it on track in 2021 but aiming for in 2022 to improve mapping further and get a little closer to oem levels of drivability on lower throttles especially and hit the track to really stretch its legs and see how it performs.
  4. Glad you all had a good day! Fancy listing everyone’s results? Love the angry looking Focus!!
  5. There's quite a bit of info you need for this, its all in the "RFD" section of the nissan manual which I've tried to attach but no idea if it'll work RFD.pdf
  6. Haha!! Looking forward to having a go post geo. Think this was a really good mod.
  7. I have found the display for the tyre pressure monitor which will be included in sale. Don't know much about it but it displayed the pressures clearly and accurately which is all its got to do!
  8. Let me know what you work out and if the answer is to take a trip to Warwick! Cheers
  9. I bought the car in 2016 and removed them straight away, I know the rears were new then but the fronts must be older. They were stored in my loft from then till now. Regarding getting them in a Z, I believe I have seen it done but I sure 2x were on the passenger seat. If your local I’m sure I can help you out though.
  10. As title, removed from my Z at 26k miles, all original (not refurbished) and unmarked faces. The "forged" and "Rays engineering" lettering really pops as a result. Comes with mounted Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 245/45 and RE040 225/45 with as new levels of tread left although are a few years old. These are also have tyre pressure monitoring sensors installed with a little 12v plug in display which will be included also I'm in Warwick for collection £550
  11. Simple doesn't really exist on a VQ engine as anything internal is really labour intensive! You should've dropped me a message I could bore you with everything you need to know as I researched it all a lot before before going ahead myself. Need to watch them yanks............they say its all easy and they know and that you'll have 500hp at the wheels when you've finished too I follow your build thread so look forward to any updates/news that you share
  12. and with only very soft deep muddy (usually wet) grass to catch you if you get it wrong!! Great stuff!! Much softer wide wall as well vs the likes of AD08/NS2R too. I'm wondering how much harsher the ride may be dropping to 35 from 40 with the AD08's as the side wall is so stiff on both anyway!? Lowering the gearing with smaller diameter is part of my interest too as small gain in acceleration is welcome.......VDC all removed from my car so don't need to worry about that side of things. Be nice to just try it before committing to them till they're scrubbed out but sometimes you got to try these things to try these things!
  13. You using the 370 rods and machining valve relief in the pistons? Were you hoping for a drop in then and not to have to rebuild the bottom end?
  14. Cheers! Been very busy but it's so nice to be out in it again after so long......there's still some ironing out with mapping and sorting a few features but it's coming together and feeling like a bit of an animal which is good.
  15. Instruction at Anglesey is probably well worth it as the right line isn't obvious around there......the fast right hander turn 3 I don't think I ever feel like I've got that right! Great circuit though I totally agree loosing all those huge soft rear subframe bushes improves things loads and stops it all feeling like its floating around behind you. Looks like you're on Kumho's now, same sizes? or different now. Imagine on track the NS2R's stood up better to the punishment? Will keep you posted re 35 from 40 switch but it'll probably only be doing road work this year sadly, I'm not planning any track days but never say never! Maybe a cheeky evening session at Donington That's a great oversteer shot through Peel.......bet that printed off and on your wall? or your desktop wallpaper?
  16. Just stumbled across your build while researching 255/265 35 18 setup that I'd like to run (dropping from 40 currently) Glad to see you getting on well with it so I'll go ahead! Car looks great with nice mods for getting decent gains with track use............Anglesey is such a great track and does deliver some great pics opportunities too! Will follow your progress
  17. Cheers! Got to say it’s been a lot of work but it’s an awesome engine, goes like stink and so keen to Rev out, you won’t be disappointed Hopefully you do get some good news from the shop about the donor engine. What are your plans, you only need the block and crank from it??
  18. Cheers for organising Davey!! and Tarmac for supporting
  19. Cheers Ian! and again nice Z, not too much, just enough to look really trick
  20. Really nice Z! Awesome wheels! any idea what offsets they are? I’m looking to run 9.5” on the front
