  1. Really? That crazy, it's quite a hard wrap to get hold of, I'm kinda gutted another Z has the same. Found out today I'm down to the canvas on my rear tyres, I'm really paranoid about this sort of thing and can't believe I didn't pick up on it, but running -4 degrees camber on a daily driver has obviously taken its toll, scarily they still look like they have loads of life on the outer edge! Ill take pictures when they're off!
  2. As of last Saturday it's been raised for winter It still sits okay now though and will be going straight back down in May, but its tried killing me 3 times already and the winter hasn't even set in properly, it was a case of raise it or lose it. Also after getting bored of chasing the brake noise problem I gave it to the mechanic at work who I think has solved the problem, ill let you know what it was when its definitely fixed!
  3. Hi guys, some of you might remember me posted a thread a month or 2 a go about a funny noise which I thought I solved, turns out I didn't and it came back quick, anyway skip to today I finally got the mechanic at work at it. Me and all my mechanically minded friends have chased it unsuccessfully, he found out that the spring in the kit in the link I'm about to post has turned round and he moved it back but now it needs replacing. Where can I buy one? Or this same kit if needs be from the UK? http://www.conceptzperformance.com/cart/description.php?II=6485&Car_Type=NIS350&UID=2012122222232666.249.73.5

Yes mate i was at trax, yea lips a Greddy tracer Item shame its a bit battered and bruised after being ran off the road by some idiots in a audi and fiat try to hijack me but is all good atm, Must try and find out some more about static clique as every car ive seen represent at trax and JAE are epic Reeco were you get the Rouge Status Wrap? Still looks ace though mate! Yeah static clique are just a group of mates from Andover that all happen to have awesome cars! They're really welcoming and a top group of guys! Thanks alot for all the positive feedback guys, I really do appreciate it! Nothing new of recent, changed jobs so I'm now an apprentice sprayer which means I should be able to sort my stone chips myself soon, I'm actually really enjoying it! Facelift bumper

Okay still desperately hunting a reasonably priced one of these! Help!
  6. I had a recent issue with a knocking noise that only started after 40mph...everyone and their uncle looked at it and could'nt work it out. Give a female friend a lift....as we drove i apologised for the loud annoying knocking and explained it was a complex issue which was being looked into. She took one look behind her and said 'it might be that piece of wiper blade that's flapping around!'....and it was Haha that's brilliant, well at least I'm not alone!
  7. They haven't said they won't refund me yet but we'll see.. I mean this lip won't even clamp round the bumper both ends... It'll do one end but the other is way way out... It's like it was made for another car! Ah fair enough! Sounds like you got a crap one. At least you havent done what i have, I bought a lip recently and thought it was a terrible fit, turns out its for the facelift bumper -.-
  8. Fast_line_styling supply all the aerokit stuff, they arnt all bad and I've known them to produce some decent pieces, but at the same time they do occasionally produce some utter shite, you were one of the unfortunate people. I think it's terrible they won't refund you but don't be totally put off by all there stuff.
  9. Massive respect for being able to do that on paint! I think it's ace!
  10. Thanks alot man, glad you enjoyed reading it! Yeah I always thought the "low is a lifestyle" phrase was some douche bag scene kid saying but I genuinely do have to change so many things in my life to use it as it is! Defiantly not ideal as a daily driver. I actually got beached on a speedbump at the weekend, the traffic behind me wasn't happy ha!
  11. Haha seems to be a lot of this silly embarrassing diagnosing going on at the moment lol Haha I do feel like a bell end tbh! Even worse I can't blame it on being a noob, I've drove cars with knocking bottom ends and other crazy problems and this sounded pretty brutal even when compared to that!
  12. Okay problem solved, embarrassingly I don't really know how or what it actually was. I took it for another run, tried coasting downhill etc and some tight turns and loads of other things and nothing stopped it so I took the front driver side wheel off, gave everything a wobble, it all seemed tight, moved a bit of plastic splash guard the was in the wrong place...but only a bit :S put it all back together, took a big stone out of the back tyre and touch wood It's stopped :S Thanks for all the suggestions though guys.
  13. No it seems to be doing it on any sort of surface
  14. Welcome back, glad you got your old car back!
  15. Okay, I haven't even had a look yet but I noticed light metallic click at low speeds on Saturday, I ignored though because it was raining I put it down to the manifold getting a bit wet (splash guards are smashed up in places) or the start of the dreaded axel problem. Drove it to Bristol Sunday evening and didn't notice it at all so thought nothing of it, again Monday I drove it to work no problem at all. However today I got half way to work and in slow moving traffic I'm getting a now pretty aggressive knock, it's definitely not the engine, but it does speed up with the speed of the car, but thanks to having a bloody k1 I can't hear it after 1st. I don't know if this is because it gets drowned ot or weather it actually stops. Anybody know what to look at first? Thanks

    DPE Wheels

Wheels make or break a car, I'd happily pay through the roof for a decent set, but for that sort of money I'd look at custom rotiform a (not biased;)) VIP modulars or HRE wheels!
  20. I have a K1 it's noisy, sits too low, rattles everything inside...and I love it
  21. Hi guys, My headlights have always seemed a bit dim, and I know they need adjusting since I've dropped my car, but even with this taken into Account they seem terrible. I've noticed it more recently on some of the bendy and dippy dual carriageways I've been using, I've literally had to slow down to about 50mph when nobodies in front of me because I can't see where the road goes. Can anybody recommend some decent bulbs? My cars an 04 uk model if it makes a difference? Thanks Reece
  22. I bought tyromania in the end! I prefer the matte finish and nothing else can seem to get it. It can leave a gloss finish if you buff it off after but nothing like megs!
  23. Duck billed platter-puss all the way!
