  3. belter just sent an email, at that price its worth getting them and storing them in the garage. good find
  4. still pretty cool plate, i looked at the car that was for sale with the plate
  5. cant beleive it didnt sell, did think i could sell my 05 and my z750 but i may still need a few grand to buy it. mental
  6. hola and welcome to the forum. its nice here
  7. hi mate did you ever have any joy with this. b
  8. welcome, i had a skoda fabia estate before the zed ( have had a few fast cars) but nothing like the zed.
  9. welcome and the funky feeling the zed gives you doesnt seem to go away. had mine for almost two months now. still feel am in a car that ive stolen, also makes my driveway look a thing of beauty. love my car so much just had a garage built to keep it in. love it
  10. welcome and happy searching, plenty of info on here, just use the search function and the worlds your oyster
  11. any joy with the electrical fault as yet mate, keep us posted
  12. yeah ive done a fair bit or reseach on this site, also some american sites, i know the rotate and regrease method is the simple cheap quick fix, but my argumnet is why should i have to dip my hand in my pocket to drive a car without a click. am going to see if i can take it all the way and get new parts , i think they will come back with the rotate and regrease thing or they will say is wear and tear or they need the parts to fail first. thats fine but the wear and tear wasnt done by me. ive only done 1500 mile since i got the car and already done the rear drop links which mill nissan in harrogate replaced free of charge, they were really good. il see what happens, but am reluctant to accpet anything but new parts for the car, i travelled and paid a little over the odds for the car for some peace of mind. so peace of mind i will have, ive no issues with going direct to the warranty company, mill nissan where i bought the car, or even nissan uk. only the best for my zed will do...but in all my approaches i think you get more with sugar than you do with salt. i know the clicky axle thing is very very common, but why should it be common? i wanted to start this thread to give an over view of my experience with the click axle and the costs and sible routes to take. might be a pointless exercise but hey thats my time to waste and if i can help a few people it will be worth it. also anyone reading this zmanalex does the clicky axle repair kit next day delivery, which may be a route i take if am unlucky.. who knows
  13. buy often do you mean it can often be successful. it is just a click at the end of the day but still it effects me driving with my window down. fingers crossed, i enjoy a good battle. i would say am saving them money by sorting it before it destrys other parts. only had the car for a month and already had it serviced 5000 miles before it was due, so hopefully it will get sorted. will be intresting to see what happens, hopefully not me having to pay a huge bill. the garage did mention they could switch them over e.g left to right and that usually sorts it out . so worst case scenario i have a 600 quid bill for repairs or warranty company sort it all out. am pretty much going for all replacement parts as i deem them to be a manufacturers flawed part. the clicking noise is making me lose confidence in driving the car and am reluctant to drive it anywhere
  14. hi everyone, after buying all my servicing parts from zmanalex and taking the car to the recommended alex f noble and sons in edinburgh (100 mile round trip) they done all the work but recommemded my drive shafts were stripped to sort out the clicking. even after one service with them they provided such good service am going to take the car back to get the inspection done, they were pretty confident it would fall under the drive train warranty. my cars only don 45k nissan approved used car. so i would agree with them. only i know warranty companies can be a nightmare, although ive been fairly successful in the past. but i am going to post up my experience from start to finish in the off chnace it can help someone else , or if i can get input . my experince will be off the warranty company as it will be them that have the decision not the dealers there just the middle man. any way car just back from the service and am going to book it back in with nissan in a week or so , shall keep you posted
  15. alex f noble and sons edinburgh zmanalex recommend them and i bought all my stuff from him. went to nobles and sons today for a service, plus changing all oils and belts. few hours labour , theres an ikea just up the road, so had to get the meatballs on the go.. went back to garage , car done, washed and hoovered, couldnt beleive it.....thats what i call service, its a 100 mile round trip but am more than happy to go there, if the level of service is that high.. david and darren , really know there stuff and i think his name is chris as well. am takin my car back for the clicky axle thing , as i have a full nissawarranty and its part of the drive train.. warranty states in black and white that its covered and i love a good argument with the like of a warranty claim any way.
  16. that adapter did go quick, theres plenty about, best being patient for one on here as ebay seems to commamd a higher price. my cars only done 40k and it looks like someones been spitting weetabix at the front bumper. car feels great after the service, but am doing a warranty claim for the drive shafts, ive been told the only issues is that it will click a bit ,, but i dont want it to click a bit. so am happy enough to have an argument with the warranty company. let me know how much you pay for the front bumper, i might get a quote for the front spray and they look great debadged at the front as well. all the best
  17. it makes me love the zed even more to he honest , knowing that they could possibly out live a turtle. your is minted mate. also there is a blue tooth adapter for sale in the trading section viewtopic.php?f=32&t=62104 am taking my car to get all the fluids replaced tommorrow and i have the dreaded rear end click, but thankfully ive got a years warranty and only had the car for a month, plus love a good argument when the warranty compney say no...all the best mate and happy motoring b
  18. hi mate, yep youll be about 460 a year tax. went for a 2005, as the yearly difference in tax pays for my service parts. but having the zed for a while, i may change to a newer one next year.. but just dont know if i could ever part with my zed now. welcome and good luck hunting
  19. hi mate and the wheels. imagine it wont he anything big, auto electrician should easily sort it. hope u get it fixed soon. ive not had that problem on my zed, but have had it on another car and turned out to be a loose fuse. nothing to lose by checking. cheers
  20. ment to ask as well, since the car has good miles on it, did it come with a good history. it would be intreasting to find out what needed relaced and when. or what the most commons things have been. theres a few phone bluetooth adapters on shebay just now.. the going rate seems to be around 60 quid for them just looked at my post, and corretced it so it could be understood in english
  21. welcome, its brillint to see a zed with some decent miles on it, looks great. you will love it. the forum is great, full of info and any parts you might need. i got the bluetooth adapter of the forum and bought a phone cradle. but when tryinh to figure out the cables , found another phone cradle under the centre console. so if you dont have a phone cradle il have one for sale, for much cheapness.. welcome again and all the best
  22. nice one fingers crossed. even if they can make out the type and colour of car, you can maybe go back to the car park and match up the car leaving the car park. or even possibly where the cars has to exit the car park on yet another camera.then just give the reg to police, i imagine there car still has some of your zed attached to it, insurance companies can prove this with a forensic paint sample. my mrs is a fraud investigator for insurance, its amazing the stuff she does to catch people out.. i imagine it will be a bit of running about, but it will be worth it, not only to catch the pikey, but to get your car fixed also. good luck mate
