    Buying falken 452

i would just like to say a big thank you for introducing me to the camskills site.. their prices are amazing, best ive ever seen. I always thought black circles were pretty good prices.. camskills even have 225,45,18 for 44 quid...i have no idea if there even made of rubber but still. i love the falken 452s am running just now.. But it is good to know if am ever skint i can also get some tyres for buttons... I might even try the 44 quid tyres just to see, there either going to be terrible and scary or a total hidden gem, i imagine terrible and scary.
  3. where did you gets these at that price.. am running them just now and love them

    second car thoughts

am leaning towards the golf or civic as ive owned both of these before, possibly more the civic as there literally bomb , bullet and nuke proof
  10. after spending 3 months convincing my other half that it was yet another of my great ideas to get a zed and about 6 months ago getting a new kawasaki z750. im now trying to find a good, reliable second car mainly for her to drive. i only really do jap or german vehicles. any thoughts am thinking either civic or golf......i already tried the lets get another 350z, as there pretty much bomb proof and very reliable..didnt go down to well. input much appreciated b
  11. was in yorkshire on tuesday getting my zed, exact same as yours. am pleased with mine as am sure you are with yours. yorkshire folk seem to take very good care of their zeds!
  12. hi chico, welcome. i got my car a week ago and the info and support available on this forum is amazing. all the best b
  13. fastest colour too ... looks very nice ... envious yeah i here gunmetl grey adds 5 bhp the only thing am going to do is after the summer get the front bumper sprayed a few stone chips, or might just get a full respray, but i think id keep the colour , love it

    DIY seat refurb

just done the leather cleaner and conditioner with gliptone, my seats were beggining to resemble a german shotputters back. the gliptone worked a treat, am gng to try the scuff master dye type stuff, to fill in some little scuffs.
  16. So got the zed, love it. Spent 4 hours, washing, claying, pre waxing and waxing. very happy with it!
  17. Extremely chuffed, am such a bad environmentalist.. Feel bad trying to recommend green tech to people when am rocking up in a proper iceberg melter. Ah well i hear polar bears are pretty bitey anyway
  18. i cant quite believe how spotless the car is, even the engine bay is cleaner than my mates 6 month old merc. just trying to get used to the clutch, seems to have a high biting point, but the gearbox is ridiculous smooth, using 2 fingers mostly to change gears>>
  19. the dvla are ridiculous at best, for a brief minute that has now past thankfully, i was going to contact the dealer to say what had happened, in the of chance i can get a good will jesture out the equation...but am pretty sure the dealers would not have done that for me....now hat i right it i feel guilty...hope it passes soon
  20. after phoning the dvla on the cheap hotlone at 49p a minute and after the lassy ask me to hold to obviously try and generate some income from me. she said that since it was now in my name the dealer couldnt get a refund. but i have to keep the most recent tax disc that runs until december and ive to send back the old one that runs until feb2013...basically am happy...even happier after looking at the engine bay again,, its immaculate. am trying to stop myself going out and spending alot of money,, its so hard when there so many new clothes you can buy her!!!!!!
  21. absolute bonus, got my car yesterday, with 6 months tax on it.. in the little cubby whole was a metal tax disc holder was a tax disc for a year. called dvla they said i can get a refund as am the legal owner of the car now. so should get a few hundred quid back ,,, even nicer.. going to put it towards a good service , a bluetooth kit or a parking sensor as am actually finding the zed a nightmare to park......just thought id share the mini nissan lottery i just won
  22. Some pics of the new toy when i went to pick it up, shame it was whoring it down
  23. my face is actually sore from the smile i had for 250 miles, should have been 200 miles but i got lost in deepest darkest yorkshire. love the car, but the heavier steering and clutch will take some geting used to.... il post some pics up tonight. going out for a spin then hopefully the 70quid i spent on wax and clay etc will come tommorrow.
