  1. am really sorry to see that happened to your car mate. shame about the cctv. did you log it with the police anyway? take it that the car park didnt have any other cctv cameras possibly from near by businesses that may over look where your car was park. just a thought am gutted for you.
  2. it was mill nissan in harrogate. since am in glasgow i didnt have my hopes up, but they didnt even mutter a word. chris in the service department was a gentleman. they told me to take it to a nissan garage in glasgow. i tried a couple but couldnt get the car in for a few weeks and also was told i would need to pay 70 quid for them to even look at the car. since mill nissan were so decent, i told them i think i could source the parts and get them fitted for about half the price of a main dealer up here .so got the upgraded drop pins of horsham developments which were cheaper than getting them off nissan. and a wee garage doon the road is putting them on for 50 quid. so i get my car fixed and also saved them a few quid in doing do..swings and roundabouts
  3. had the zed for a month now and i was noticing a little click when givin in some in second gear. thanks to the forum i did a little inspecting and found the right drop link had a fair bit of play innit and the left. so called up the dealer, they didnt even hesitate, offered to pay in full to get both the rears replaced. i knows it not a big job but made me feel alot better, as i was feeling a daft buying a used 350 of a nissan dealer. i did pay a bit more... 2005 gt 44 k, for 8400. but am glad i did or i would have had a bill in the first month. got the uprated ones of horsham developments for 99 quid and getting them fitted down the road. then nissan have agreed to settle the bill. so just thought id share a bit of happiness. happy days
  4. keep sving and searching. if you just use the search tab you can find a wealth of info. i got my zed about a month ago, the forum has become a nightly frequent for myself, everyones really helpful and all got one thing in common.....the zed. youll find all the things to watch out for on here, always try get a full service history with a car. they need good servicing as with all cars, fuel costs can be high, some of the parts can be expensive. There r guys like zmanalex which can gets parts to you next day and cracking prices, il be getting all my oils and stuff of him next week, when the mrs is away. there good reliable cars, but there cars and need looked after... but what you get in return completely out weighs the fact you might have to chuck a few hundred quid at it here and there.. once you get you zed, you will feel like your in the wrong car for a while i still think ive accidently stolen some lucky persons pride in joy. and welcome

  8. The key here, is he drives a Mitsubishi colt. and he's buying a nissan 350Z ? i'm not seeing the class difference here sorry, but they're both jap, and both appeal to different audiences. they are both jap, which is good. Simply sticking up for the zed! personally i see the difference.. But as you quite rightly say , they appeal to different audiences.
  9. So many cars to choose from just now, its not easy. Good luck. I would stay away from the rx8.. I had an rx7 good car , very very dilicate.. But good fun. welcome to the forum
  10. i can kinda relate.. Am a guy on the outside and a die hard lesbian inside..
  11. well buy a 350z of course. I spent about 3 months off and on looking for the one i wanted. and i love it, fuel is expensive but i dont think about that, tax is expensive my insurance is only £390 a year, but i have 9 years no claims. Tyres are expensive, needs look after mechanically , which can also add up... but when you here the engine and look out the window and see it in your driveway.. youll know its all been worth it..I have no regreats apart from the fact am an environmental auditor and i do feel sorry for the polar bears. But with out polluters like me , there would be no environmental jobs for me...
