Hi All, I'm wondering if there's any difference between the two exhaust system and if so will I have trouble fitting English race cats... Car is a JDM. Last owner imported it in 06. He didn't have the Zorst fitted, so it came from the land of the rising sun with it on Ive looked at a few nismo zorsts and the tips definitely seem more round them mine which are distinctly oval and there is a welded plate saying Weldina on it.. A5 with multi tonic gearbox was a friggin nightmare, DPF filter constantly lighting up the dash (granted the missus did 18mile a day in it) but it dropped its gearbox at 35k thankfully still in extended warranty My buddy is Audi engineer and it's normally 40k he was telling me the multronic box got issues So much for German Engineering So I bought a Zed instead

Hi Folks, I assume the stupid little tube that comes off the air intake on a JDM is a resonator for limiting noise over In rising sun land? If so can I just get rid and blank off the orifice on the air intake.. I've got a lovely little bung going spare from a maserator which will cap it off nicely.. I'm assuming it won't cause the maf any issues? Just make it a little more throaty like all the uk Zeds?

viewtopic.php?f=9&t=60064 Three times yesterday my speedo went off the scale when I wasn't even moving.. Took car into Nissan this morning, full electrical check. No problem, checked the battery all ok.. Just picked it up, 2 mins down the road and off it goes again. Speedo maxing out, miles clocking up like the wheel of fortune But a pattern is forming. It happens whenever it is sunny and always when the driver side wheel is in the sunlight.. So with that in mind where abouts is the speed sensor etc? I'm wondering if the heat is playing havoc with it? Or if anyone else can offer some input rather than Nissan's gracious offer of " it's gotta be your speedo unit there's a piece of tape on it so someone has messed with it" and it's 500 quid for a new one Come on daft lad it's a computer FFS it has to have input to reply Please anyone, days like this are meant for Zedding but I can't as I'll have done a 1000miles driving to the end of the street

Hiya folks Having a intermittent issue with passenger window, if I open the door window will drop as it should, close up after door closes but then drop down to a third open It also does this if you open/close it from the inside on the button.. You have to hold the window button up for around ten seconds to get it to stay up Has Anyone come across this before or know of a solution for it Cheers Phil
