  1. Will be interested to see how it progresses. Go for it! If it looks pants, you can just peel it off. (I know from experience unfortunately).
  2. The three buttons on the right are for cruise control (the ones on the left are for stereo and phone).
  3. Sorry, bit of a thread revival, but I'm just wondering what (if any) progress has been made with project white plastidipped Zed? Last update we had a white A pillar (but had run out of Plastidip)....
  4. The Azure Blue is a very nice colour. (Wait till 350Ad sees I've said that......)
  5. Hello and A "350z dealer"? Who was it and what did they say exactly?
  6. Adam, was just reading your South East convoy thread, looks like I'll meet you guys at the hotel in Chippenham too, as I'll aim to get there for about 6.45. In fact, I think I'll head over to the South West regional section right now and start my own thread. EDIT: Thread here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/70691-japfest-drive-in/#entry1054447 CONVOY!!!!!!!!! :
  7. Thanks Martin Checked the route and I'll literally have to pass the Premier Inn to get to Castle Combe from Bristol. Bit of a no brainer really

    Machine Polisher

Mark, drop Kev (KC350Z) a PM, he's got one and I'm sure he'll give you a hand using it
  9. Oh cr@p. hold on. By 'front' do you mean headlight or windscreen? If its windscreen, ignore all my rambling above and change the non return valve (as originally advised) found under the brake fluid cover. It's about a quid from Halfords. I'll fetch my coat
  10. And yes I know (before someone points it out) that the OP's are working (to a degree), but the top up might help resolve the issue of having to hold for 10 seconds
  11. Could be the valve, but try topping your washer fluid up first. I'm sure I read the washer jets don't work if the fluid is below a certain level. And from personal experience, I've found the same. For the sake of a bit of water and fluid, it's worth a go.
  12. I'm not going to Wales and I didn't want the strut brace So you're safe mate. From me anyway....
  13. Could someone tell me where "the hotel" is that you're referring to pls? Either by reply or by PM? I'm staying overnight just outside the centre of Bristol, so if I can hook up with you guys first, that'll be ace. Yes, I did just say 'ace'.
  14. Dibs on the gimp suit. No, I mean 'PM sent'. I'll send you a PM with the title as 'Dibs' and cover both bases Dave.
  15. Just looking at your car with your splitter mate and although this totally contradicts my own styling choice (as I have the same splitter), I think it looks good on your car in black. It matches the wheels, burger badges and the roof. Just IMO.
  16. I'd agree this is the correct procedure. And yeah, it was the polished strut brace that started the whole thought process!
  17. Cool, OK, thanks for that bud. I guess it'll be down to the MOT tester in question and if he (or she), is a jobsworth. The one I used for my last MOT gave me an advisory as I had 'engine covers fitted preventing access to certain components' (the OEM engine covers) and also an advisory for 'items restricting the drivers view' (an air freshner). I won't be going back there next year. I'm off for my hols in May. If I can save some Euro's from my spending fund, I'll be in touch when I return mate (and after I've converted the currency back to GBP obviously)!
  18. Just a thought, what would be the correct ettiquette in the following scenario? An item is listed in the for sale section and 2 vultures swoop in for the kill at the same time, but approach the item slightly differently. Vulture 1 posts a "PM sent" message on the for sale thread, with say a 12:00 o' clock time stamp. Vulture 1 them PM's the seller saying that they'll take the advetised item, with a time stamp of say 12:02. Vulture 2 decides to go straight in with the PM (without posting on the thread) and sends the seller a PM that has a time stamp of 12:00. Who is the 'winning' forum member? Just thinking out loud.....
  19. If you do have a thick or additional boot mat (or no mat at all) please let me know as I can always add (or take away) a couple of mm to the height of the divider when I'm making it. Pete, please feel free to drop me a PM with further details. I'm aware OsakaBen's was a very tight fit, but that was due to the 20 inch spare wheel he was carrying in the boot - as it was considerably wider it was pushing the false floor and mat up a bit higher than normal. As the opening under the strut brace varies in diameter, moving the divider either forwards or backwards should find the 'sweet spot' where it fits snugly and holds itself in position.

    My Boss

Knowing my luck he'll buy one - and get a roadster!
  21. They look awesome CS2000, great job Do you know if there are any legal or MOT implications with the LED's pointing to the side, rather than to the front?

    My Boss

I'm also trying to convince my line manager to buy one too. Took a massive leap forward when I gave him a lift home after an office social event. He's currently got a BMW e46 325 Msport that he loves (ands has always wanted), but I'm working on it. Am currently trying to get him to come to a meet. I don't think there'll be any turning back then...... Mwah ha ha.
  23. Car looked great mate and was good to put another face to a username. We had to stop a little brat demonstrating to his mate how low your carbon splitter was by putting his foot under it. He's currently in my boot. I must bury him, as he'll start to smell soon.
