  2. Redditch buddy I Cool. There's a few of us in da 'hood. Some in Redditch itself, I'm in Kidderminster. Keep an eye on the West Mids meet thread
  3. That's it! Stuff packed. Boot's full (I'm only staying overnight) I'm en route to the fest of Jap See you in the morning
  4. I'm sure your car will cause quite a stir in Poland mate, you're certainly not going to be able to sneak through un-noticed. Have a safe trip
  5. I'd message the seller and state that they do not fit your standard OEM wheels and are therefore not as described. I'm sure the distance selling regulations cover this. I'd personally expect an exchange for the smaller ones, so might just cost you a bit of postage to send them back, rather than having to pay for a set that doesn't fit aswell as a set that does. I might be that one set are for the Rays and one for non-Rays, but I don't have both wheels to compare. Good luck
  6. "100 miles up the M40 to where I live". Where are you located then?
  7. Am I missing something here? Don't you already have the wheels? Why not just go measure it yourself? (Didn't mean that to sound as blunt as it does). As you're referring to a 'seller', I'm assuming you got them from eBay. Items like this are often a genric listing, so it's always worth measuring first before buying. For example, you can buy a full set of car seat covers (including rear seats) for your Zed on eBay.
  8. I think the convoy will be heading off from the Premier Inn at 7. I know the South East massif are aiming to get there for 6.45. I'm heading there from Bristol and will also aim to be there for 6.45.
  9. Loves fast what? I like the plate. ticks both 'personal to you' and 'relates to the car' boxes. Would probably need to stay with the car though.
  10. If anyone is worried about their loud shouty barky exhaust allowing them onto the track, I don't mind swapping for my OEM cats, OEM Y pipe and hush hush K2 back box. Just don't expect me to be around when you get off track! I'll be long gone! (Or in the queue to get out).
  11. "Brilliant" was not the word I uttered to myself when she gave me the voucher
  12. I filled up last night (£96) on Tesco Momentum ready for Japfest, then called into the actual store to do some shopping. Upon checkout I was presented with a 10p per litre voucher
  13. Thanks mate. I removed it and painted it. You can do it in any colour you want as it doesn't get hot enough to need the VHT paint. I just used grey primer, silver, then lacquer. I'm really pleased with how it came out. Look good as new EDIT: Sand it first! (Thanks Ben). But as it's a textured finished, this isn't too difficult, just make sure it's clean before you start applying primer and paint etc.
  14. We can sort something out mate I'm sure. Although I guess this means I might have to go in a blue one....
  15. Hi Scott, Congrats on your new purchase and welcome to the forum. Remember to post in the introductions section, letting us all know what you've got and where you're located I'll send you a PM with some more details on. Thanks very much for your interest.
  16. I got my black steel tuner nuts from RareRims (on here) for about £20
  17. This makes me laugh (but not for that reason). Every series the phone rings at early o' clock in the morning and someone (if SMD's lucky it's a female) come hurtling downstairs in a panic to answer the phone. Now, I wouldn't claim to be a genius, or one of Britains brightest business brains, but can I make a suggestion? (Dave, you're not gonna like this). To prevent the mad panic and the :bounce: down the stairs, why not leave the phone on the bedside table, or at least in the bedroom - it's CORDLESS!
  18. Bit of a cheeky plea, but I thought I'd ask, just in case..... Would anyone be prepared to allow me to call shotgun in their passenger seat for their track session? I have my own helmet (assuming a motorcycle helmet is okay) and I don't mind contributing to the track session cost/buying lunch etc. Thank you, Ian
  19. Nice one Chris. Very best of luck with this and all your future ventures.
  20. Thanks for sharing And fair play for attempting some jobs that many would be afraid of even contemplating. It's "having a go" with the help from forums like this and its members that teach us all valuable maintenance lessons. Good luck with your next DIY mod (supercharger is it ) and as the belts lesson showed, don't be afraid to sk for help
  21. I used the K&N service kit on my JWT popcharger without any issues. It comes with a spray cleaner so depending how clean/old your filter is, it maybe worth spraying/cleaning twice before applying the oil. Bear in mind the K&N oil is red, so your blue filter wont be blue anymore. Apply the oil sparingly and allow it to soak into the filter as long as possible. Just let the filter stand overnight if poss. RS8055. If you've got an OEM panel filter, it's designed to be thrown away at the respective service intervals. It 'can' be cleaned with an air loine etc. If it's a K&N (can't make out which from your post) then it's designed to be cleaned and reused. The kit in the OP post can be used on all filters other than foam/sponge ones.
  22. Now you tell me! I've only just got it back from the body shop after having all the holes filled following a road rage incident involving an AK-47....
