  1. Oh, you mean the one taken after you'd lapped Buster.....?
  2. You gotta get that framed or mounted on canvas for The Zed Shed
  3. Yeah, I can vouch that it isn't actually THAT loud inside the car, even when you're hard on the loud pedal. I ca nalso vouch that it sticks like a sticky thing stuck to a sticker. (Even though it dig let go once, which you caught like a pro dude). Hats off to ya mate, you have some driving kahunas, and they may even be purple.....
  4. To be fair mate, I could've been screaming like a banshee and you still wouldn't of heard me!
  5. Can't thank you enough for allowing me to ride shotgun, thanks again buddy, really appreciate it
  6. Thanks for the feedback Pete. I appreciate it. Bruton350, if you do want one mate, it'll be a pleasure, just let me know. As you have an additional mat, I can make yours a few mm smaller, not a problem. Just send me a PM when you're ready and ill give you more details. Cheers guys
  7. Just seen and followed (and got and acknowledgement) from a Sunset 350z on Kidderminster ring road, following a strange U-turn at Kiddy train station! You on here mate?
  8. Thanks a lot Pete The next mod is already lined up and I've just won an auction on a little treat for the engine bay on eBay. This Zeditis started as a mild ailment, now it's developed into a serious illness
  9. Thanks Stu. I just wish I knew where this was going...... Wrapping isn't too hard, just need patience and some practice on simple shapes to begin with.
  10. For those that didn't see it, you may still of heard it (re: alarm)
  11. Well, after spending all of last Bank Holiday weekend 'renovating' my engine bay, Friday night and all day Saturday away from home at Japfest, to keep the peace I promised my other 'alf that Sunday would be a Zed free day. I figured that Sunday being Sunday, she wouldn't stir until about 9am. I therefore figured that setting my alarm for 7am would give me the best part of 2 hours of 'Zedtime' without any remorse what-so-ever. (Is this bad)? So, after Bob (Buster) kindly demonstrated how much brute force was needed to remove my strut cover at Japfest, I decided my 2 hour window would be the ideal time to wrap and refit. 9am, job done, cup of tea taken to other 'alf in bed, I am a hero
  12. Very impressive Patch, looks fantastic. Something I've found with the boot dividers I've made (and many, many apologies if you've already considered this and if I'm stating the obvious), but the acoustic carpet covering can add a fair few mm to the overall dimensions of whatever you're covering. Your box looks a perfect fit uncovered, it might be a bit of a tight squeeze once you put the acoustic carpet on. Again, apologies if this is something you're already taken into account mate.
  13. And a non-Zed photo that made me chuckle.
  14. I've started looking at dressing up my engine bay and have a GM too. Wandering round the stalls at Japfest yesterday the colours that are readily available are red, blue, yellow, purple and Keyser/Kawasaki green. Oh and black. Any colour will go really with GM, as long as you stick to the same colour and maybe paint a few bits and pieces such as the battery cover etc the same colour, you'll be onto a winner
  15. Hello and Let's see some pics then....
  16. I've thought of a couple of things to add to the list: Wrap rear strut brace cover in carbon vinyl Fit rear splash guards. As I plan to do both if the above tomorrow, by adding them to the list today, I can claim I've started to tick things off. Result
  17. Great day today. Actually seeing everyone's car 'in the flesh' so-to-speak was like celebrity spotting when previously you've only seen photos! Good to (finally) meet some of you guys and I must thank Jordan (Smudgdon) for allowing me to be passenger in the black flagged beastie. Even more gutted I can't make Wales now Fab day guys (and gals), thanks
