  1. Ive seen those 2 tabs before, so i can see where you guys are coming from, but what did you do for the middle part? whats self tappers, are they just plastic clips? Presuming none of you have drilled into your bumper or anything? As for exhaust, cheers KyleR ill grab some of that and give it a go looking a bit old now as ive been too scared to polish the blue
  2. Two Questions guys, firstly, how do you do a bumper tuck? Ive seen lots of before and after pictures, but no actual guide so far. Im a photo kinda guy, not reading, so photos would benefit me more but i can still read, aslong as it is dumbed down for me Secondly, my invidia exhaust has blue tips. How do i polish this? obviously autosol is an abbrassive, and so is meguirs. And im presuming that blue coat is just a spray. Is there a way to shine it up again without losing the blue?
  3. Can i just ask, whats the point in rolling the arches?Something to do with tyre size?
  4. What the hell have i just read..... I dream about world domination and zombie invasions. You guys need to stay off this forum for a while haha
  5. For me, budget doesnt stretch far enough to look into "real" power mods, i dont class 20bhp as a good mod when it costs £2000+, for that i expect alot more. Looks is what i prefer, so id have a bodykit there on the list. If i had just bought the car today and had no intention of a possibility of selling in near future, id go nismo v2 front, tarmac sports side skirts, chargespeed rear with the black centre, chargespeed spoiler, stillen top boot spoiler and tinted windows. Wrapped or sprayed in a nice different colour, probably ferrari red or audi RS blue. Engine wise, K&N cold air intake and invidia exhaust i already have, so probably some invidia de-cat pipes, plenum spacer and remap is about as high as performance goes, Little mods would be 20mm and 25mm spacers, tyre paint, blue engine bay and a few interior bits like the boot divider one of the members make. That itself is probably a total of £3-4k. so... Pretty much a whole car budget.
  6. haha he looks like he should be doing some acdc song. Got some skill though

    Facelift bumper

Best bet is to keep enquiring here, but keep checking ebay. Harder to get hold of a front bumper than rear, since everyone crashes head first. Im sure at some point someone will be looking to change their bumper, but until then just have to keep searching.
  8. Im having the same issue, it only happens sometimes and only ever recognise it on this forum I presumed it was down to dirty keyboard and was needing cleaned, but now youve mentioned it i do only recognise it here
  9. I have always presumed ESP on is the best way, but others say otherwise. Can someone give a little info on this?
  10. Itll depend on the tarmac of the road aswell. I find the smoother the road in general (basically, the quiter the road sounds) the more icy it is to drive on. When its a bit frosty or wet, i try take the loud roads. It makes sense to me, quiet roads are freshly done, and very smooth, the louder are older and have loads of little holes every centimetre to keep water below. I dunno, just makes sense
  11. Looks wicked and sounds amazing! Im going to mate it up with the chargespeed rear end I think. The tips should fill the holes in the diffuser nicely Chargespeed would rock next step, you need to make a GTR wing fit on a 350z gogogo
  12. Its got that actor out of Breaking Bad which is good, hes descent actor. Doesnt look so good in the trailer though. I find Supercar racers are just very dull and boring. NFS movie is basically like a new fast and furious, ignored the people who mod cars, and went for the rich guys who dont even know what tyres they have on their car. Bring back the ricers and jap mod car movies!!!!
  13. Multiplayer is pants. SinglePlayer i got bored of. Extinction i have no idea whats going on. But Squad match, offt it just gets me wet. Whooping ass and being the last guy alive while the other 3 get mauled because they have no tactics, i lurve it Never played skyrim so it must be pants..... Just sayin
  14. Nom Nom Nom. Looks wicked, alot bigger than oem tips. However, now you have the problem of filling up the rest of that rear with some spats and diffuser
  15. DE Engine = <2006 HR Engine = >2006 More Bhp and a few interior changes, bulge in the bonnet, but you pay the higher tax bracket I've only recognised my oil consumption going down now after ive started to have fun. Its basically a weekly check for me now, if, you can read that stupid dipstick. nutcase whoever invented the zed dipstick, but yeah, just keep an eye on the psi dipping to 0. Tyre wise, it burns the rear quite fast, mines last roughly 10k miles, fronts are coming upto 18k and still tread left to go. In the snow, depending on tyres, its driveable, but dont expect to be going the same speed as some other cars. It loves to kick out randomly in the dry, nevermind wet and snow Alot of members will say not to drive your car at all, but if your not rich and dont have a second car, or refuse to/cant go on public transport, the zed is capable of driving in the snow. Your best bet is a set of snow tyres, set you back £400 but it really depends if your expecting to drive it much in the snow. This year has been easy and no issues, 2011 was a nightmare. In the rain, the back will kick out a fair bit, but it regains control very fast if you have the esp on. Once you take it off, as you know, your on your own and the car is quite easy to control but it is a slidey wee car. Running cost wise, theres no difference between the <2006 and >2006 other than tax. Obviously thats the thing that hits you randomly, so its worth looking into your budget to plan for the £480 or however much it is 2006>, maybe £35 a month put in diff account or something (not sure how good your new job is). Modification wise, its 2 air intakes, and from what i can gather (correct me if im wrong companies) the HR kit is a bit rarer and sometimes more expensive. But, you do have 2 cupholders, if you get a <2006 your missus isnt allowed to own a cup holder and must hold it in her hands as you drift and make her spill it all over your car.
  16. Buying and selling cars can never be simple now adays
  17. Does it sound like the f&f one madmarky or is that enhanced? it does sound like a different engine, i know its TT but that wouldnt effect the exhaust note at low revs? Reason i ask is i was looking at swaping the invidia gemini for a different exhaust, i bought it because i liked the tips (because im an idiot like that), but looking for a meaty louder note to it.
  18. To be honest, with the price of them, you might aswell buy some pens. I got pack of 10 tyre wall pens for like £5 and done the job perfectly. Only issue is you have to do it every month or two as they turn brown with mud. Ignore halfords pens, their useless and couldnt even finish 1 tyre with the pen. just leaks.
  19. Not sure, i thought VS was only body kit. Someone mentioned a greddy exhaust, but then others started saying it was computer generated.
  20. After watching Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift yesterday, and ignoring missus questions while i just stared at the 350z's, I tried to search up what exhaust DK has on his TT 350z. Came accross a guy asking the same question on my350z and obviously just got pounded with useless replies and talking about being ricer, which, really isnt ricer. So, just curious if anyone knows what exhaust they have on DK's 350z. I know some may be computer generated, but was wondering if there is an exhaust that sounds like that?
  21. Good guide there. Its easy to remove, just make sure you have taken every screw out. Theres a few cheeky ones in corners etc that you wouldn't expect.
  22. I tried driving like miss.daisy for past 2years and got average 26mpg, as i always come into motorways and street roads. On motorway i got around 32-34 driving miss daisy. For the past month, ive just been booting the car and messing around not caring about fuel, and im getting 22mpg average, includes motorway and street. So now, i dont care about looking at fuel gauge. for the sake of 2mpg, i cant floor it for 8hours straight so i take little notice of changing gear at correct moment now, unless im really not fussed about going fast. Me booting the car isnt redlining it though. Tend to change around 4k-4,5k revs and going from 2nd/3rd gear flooring. I wouldnt say you achieve much better mpg trying to drive sensible. But im sure others on the forum will disagree and either i suck at driving for good mpg, or i suck at flooring the car. Either way im happy.
  23. Call of Duty Ghosts, on the survival style mode with 4 players vs A.I. Managed to find a mini-gun ammo glitch, so i got to round 100 and lvl 82 on weapon
