  1. Fully functional Bluetooth adapter: £70 posted on recorded 48hr.... if such a thing exists! Or collection from Southampton. Many thanks, Dan
  2. Sorry this happened to you. Fantastic result on the levelling process you did there - vast improvement! I just wish every person could have the decency to own up to their **** ups, leave a note with their details and be humans about it!
  3. Does look like great fun! How many sets of tyres did you get through on the day?
  4. Welcome! I was the same age, and at Uni, when I got my first Zed - words can't describe the excitement, can it? Admiral were really good for the insurance. By the sounds of it you've got insurance sorted. But admiral took into account the fact that i was at Uni, liked the fact that i was young and also gave me a huge discount for having a parent, with good driving history, as a named driver on my policy. I would like to advise against servicing at a Nissan dealer because of the ridiculous prices. And, the fact that when I phoned up for wheel alignment they responded: "All four wheels?".... 'nuff said. Keep it simple, don't neglect regular, preventative maintenance. I'm lucky enough to have a local garage around the corner, that's always been there, they love their JDMs and keep you informed about things that will eventually need attention - that is worth it's weight in gold. Check your oil every 2 weeks and change with an ester based, fully synthetic. These VQs love it. All the best and lastly.. POST SOME PICS
  5. Haha yeah! Imagine how quick and smooth they'd be with a lightened flywheel.... oh wait..... ...pours down the sink Happy new years eve all!
  6. De-cat pipes now sold. The buyer is in for a real treat, I reckon
  7. Loving the generosity. That's xmas right there! Here's wishing Luke some good luck with that engine. Merry xmas to the Zed Shed.
  8. Thanks for the heads up HaydnH... I dont know if it was so this could be dead weight
  9. Lol! Humpy, you know you want some decats and a stubby ;-) . Regardless, I want to be honest with my forum friends! Ah, my apologies Will. My avatar thing should display that, i'll sort that out. I'm based in southampton. I can arrange delivery if required, for a fee. Parcel2go aren't that expensive.
  10. Hi Everyone, Having a bit of a clear-out and realised that i've got a handful of useful stuff, barely used, gathering cobwebs. I think it could all be of better use to someone else. Rather than immediately chucking it all away. Brohn Black Ice Car Polisher - Gold Pack - £30 + postage (collection preferred) - SOLD http://www.amazon.co...&keywords=brohn Rotary polisher. Used once, for a small scuffed patch on my old zed (the used pad can easily be cleaned prior to subsequent use). 3 waffle pads (cut, intermediate, finish). Comes with a bonnet which I used to cover the backing plate. Bottle of carnauba wax (unopened). Farecla G10 Finishing Compound - £5 + delivery - collection preferred - SOLD Again, used once with the machine polisher. A really safe way to use a rotary, with water. Collective photo of the detailing bits - all aimed at the prep/finish stage of a detail. Meguiars 3 step system - £12 + delivery - collection preferred - SOLD Used twice, about an 1/8th used from each bottle. £5 each. Autoglym Tyre Dressing - £3 + Delivery - SOLD Almost full bottle. Used once. Mer Ultimate Polish - £4 + Delivery - SOLD Used a few times. 3/4 full. Used to add it to a bucket of Mer Car Shampoo, worked really well. Great products. Meguiars Ultimate Compound - £5 + Delivery - SOLD Used once. Less 1/8th used. Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner & Conditioner - £4 + Delivery - SOLD Used once. About 1/8th used. Halfords HP1400 - £30 + Delivery - Collection preferred. - SOLD Great little pressure washer. Used for foaming. Perfect pressure for car cleaning and can generate a real thick foam. Used a few times. Always drained and dry stored after use. The only thing I don't have to hand is the hose adapter (I have it somewhere in my kitchen). But it will connect and work with any standard Hozelock connector. Ultimate Snow Foam Lance - £25 + Delivery - Collection Preferred - SOLD Used to connect up to the halfords pressure washer. Used a few times. Fresh plumbers tape on the thread. Stubby antenna - £5 Delivered. - SOLD. Take THAT Humpy!! lol This antenna is a pile of unicorn genitals. However, if you're looking for a cheap stubby ariel mod to look the part for little money, please look no further :-) Saved the best till last: De-Cat pipes! £90 + Delivery - Collection preferred. SOLD... regrettably I'm sorry but i don't know the make. But they are beautiful pieces. Good bends and high quality welds. 2 fresh gaskets. These are used. However, they are in great condition, hardly any dirt on them. Almost forgot. I have an original 6 CD Bose Stereo from a JDM 350z. I would imagine that the radio frequencies don't match the UK band. And I can't confirm whether it works or not - it came off my previous Zed before i bought it. If you want some authentic JDM goodness, this could be for you. Thought it might be worth putting it out there before chucking it. £5 ono? + Delivery (collection preferred) If someone would like to take the lot, i'll give you a discount on the total :-) n.b. I have touch tested all of the detailing products and they look, smell and feel like new. None of them appear to have 'gone off' All the detailing products are kept in storage in my bedroom lol! Love, Dan P.S I'm located in Southampton.
  11. Nice! when did this happen?
  12. Hey All, Nice little story about the development process of the Nismo GT-R. For me, this is like watching my broken dreams - always dreamt of R&D for a manufacturer that has such profound motor-sport involvement. But for now, I just sit and stare... Enjoy!

    Test pipes

I have a nice looking 2nd hand set, with some fresh gaskets. How much are you looking to spend Sir?
  14. The shark stuff looks pretty damn good. Wish i'd bought that and saved a couple of quid! Has anyone tried the Poorboys EX-P sealant? Like any sealant it can be used on paint and wheels. I've heard it requires a lot of layering - anyone put it to the paint? xx
  15. My 2 cents: There's no magic wheel protection that lets brake dust slip off. Or, prevent wheels from getting as dirty as an 'un-protected' wheel. Im a big fan of synthetic sealants, they are easy to buff off and create a thick, properly hard, protective coating. Unlike carnauba wax, they bond with surfaces and, like wax, are hydrophobic. This combo allows them to be used on glass, headlights, plastic trim, paint and wheels. I use chemical guys Jet Seal 109, cover the entire exterior with it and the car is protected from the worst nature has to offer. It lasts a long time - provided that gentle maintenance shampoos are used. With that, keep layering on the sealant and the gloss gets better and better. All the best, Dan
  16. When in self diagnostics mode i'm seeing the 2sec off, 3 sec on repetition. According to the manual: Like the OP's, mine seems to keep returning The "MOT Bible" states: A Supplementary Restraint System (SRS) malfunction indicator lamp: symbol may be displayed. • inoperative • indicating a system malfunction. But this light pattern indicates an old fault and just requires erasing. Is this technically not an MOT fail? (admittedly, i'd love having to explain this to an MOT tester lol)
  17. Thanks all, for the warm welcome Sorry to hear that. I wasn't prepared to accept an issue like that on a brand new car that I ran-in myself. Besides, more powerful models will, no doubt, be released soon. Which is really going to hack of the 1st gen ownership. More to the point ...
  18. Thank you Ebized. Hope to see you again soon!
  19. Hi Everyone, After disappearing for almost a year, i've returned. And glad to have done so!! Back in November 2012, I blacked out and woke up a day later with this: It was everything I wanted in a car and really lived up to the hype. Was about to drive off into the sunset when... CRUNCH! http://www.gt86owner...1486_page1.html Make of it what you will. I'm not here to troll/insult/slam anybody, but the main problem I had was with Toyota FS who were generally dismissive about the issue. To all those whom are considering - you've been warned. After being left broke and dis-heartened, I couldnt help but significantly miss my JDM Zed, and regret selling it. It's not just the car, this is the best forum i've joined and have very fond memories for the following: http://www.350z-uk.c...140#entry952449 So, I saved up my pennies and came across this: http://www.350z-uk.c...-milton-keynes/ A fantastically maintained example - after a 100 mile drive back, all i can say is... Allan, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! The more I drove, the more I fell in love lol! I reckon i've bought the nicest '04 model out there. Allan is a great bloke, a great character and he's done a fantastic job with looking after this car - Allan even put on brand new DS2500 rears this morning! Very best of luck with your GTR, Sir Please see pics that i've nicked from Allan, Looking forward to settling back in. See you soon
  20. Im sorry to say im not sure. But i know that the locking configuration can be adjusted by taking the diff apart. Which isn't too difficult. Ive had a look in the instruction manual and its mainly aimed at torquing patterns and break in procedures. Why do you want to convert it to a 1.5 way?
