Really excited to be joining the forum. Purchased my zed the other day and i feel like the luckiest chap in the world!
The cars a 2002 JDM Fairlady Z, basic model (i think, help here maybe please?) with brembo's.
The previous owner was a member here and the mods are: +06 airbox conversion w/ Apexi panel filter, Japspeed Y-pipe, Berk HFCs, fujitsubo catback, plenum spacer, earthing kit and Horsham Remap.
The car has had a bit of an unlucky past, but based on the condition and the care the previous owner put in, i fell in love with the car. So my main mission is to bring my zed back to her full potential.
So, i have many thanks to the previous owner and West Way Nissan Southampton for all their help.
I'll report back once this niggle has been sorted.
I do have a couple of queries (which i will also research myself, 'search button' practise )...
When coasting to a stop, the revs dip below idle, is this normal? I'll report back after filling up with V-power and a good service w/ new plugs and fuel filter, but i thought with the earthing kit this wouldn't happen?
Does anyone have recommendations on cleaning the panel filter, i'd rather not use petrol if there is a better way?
And, why is the 350z so much better than an M3?
