Like the idea of the orange nuts on a black zed. Not too keen on the orange lip idea though.

What colour zed are they going on. I considered them for my gunmetal grey.

And if im not mistaken peanuts are taxed when you buy them aswell

Don't forget though the money you buy the tax with has already been taxed (and national insurance deducted) for most people, then the fuel you buy with money that has already been taxed, carries a lot of tax itself. Plus the car itself when first purchased included vat, on money that has already Ben taxed, then you have to pay road tax plus first registration tax. This country is run by thieves. No wonder they go so lightly on criminals.

Does it seem to be hesitant until the knock. If so it's probably the brakes seized slightly. I get it on mine. I think it's where the brake dust is metal and when it gets damp it rusts giving orange looking discs and causing the brakes to stick to the disc.

So what's the best route to go down then? I can live without the car for a few days so its not the end of the world. And I want an anthracite finish. Possibly a bit darker than the finish above to go on gunmetal grey car.

How about sticking kitchen towel or absorbant towel in the inlet holes and covering the top of the plenum with cling film? Should keep the nasties and mousture out

recirc is for an indurance car. girlfriend in, windows up heating up. drop one and see how long she lasts.

is the button set to recirculate or for fresh air. i had mine set on recirculate and it kept steaming up. a suggestion to change it whilst on a meet sorted it out. no problems since

Ill pop to b&q and get a few different styles tomorrow. The width of the thread measured 10mm on a digital measure so assumed it was m10. The nut did start off like it fitted but bit down and held firm after a slight twist by hand

Can anyone tell me what size thread and what style the gear stick in the zed has. I tried an m10 bolt on it and it was too small. Does that make it an m12? Or will it be a different size. I would try it but im nights and dont have access to an m12 bolt at the moment. Its a 2004 uk i that makes any difference. Cheers.
