  1. Never had any leaks, as you say just annoying because I knew it was there!
  2. As Will370z check very carefully around where the windows meet the door seals, I could see the metal in one of mine as it wore through. I had a new door seal put on but you could see where it could potentially start again. Having said that, loved the car and it would not put me off having another one just check it carefully.
  3. Mod the GTR and it would be a different outcome!
  4. I had Nissan replace the seal on my second roof under warranty, the seal on the first roof was going he same way, and you can still see how it is rubbing the new seal.
  5. Update worked first time, no problems. If anyone is waiting for discs drop me a pm and I will post out. Thank you to CS2000 for sourcing the discs.
  6. Discs arrived today, thanks Mike89 will try to get update done this weekend.
  7. Hi, can I be added to the list when a set becomes free so I can update my 2010 sat nav.
  8. Boot opened first time and she just cruised out of the car park. No black lines left behind.
  9. My brother and I were sat in the car park at the local M&S just waiting to go off somewhere parked out of the way, we had both spotted a black 370 parked out of the way as well. Now just to point out now I am not ageist but shall we say a more elderly lady walked across the car park with her shopping past the three or four smaller cars you would have thought she was going to, popped the boot, put her shopping and drove off. My brother looked over at me and said I did not expect that, I said neither did I !!
  10. My first roof was changed due to a cable tie wearing a whole in the roof from the inside, that is just poor workmanship. 2nd roof had what can only be described as a small bubble in the fabric at the very front, which no one could do anything about. WLMG Slough sorted it out both times for me. I love the car especially with the roof down but this is my daily car and it just niggles away in the back of my mind that if there is another problem then its one hefty repair bill.
  11. Thanks for the views above and thanks for sharing your current talks with Nissan Rogerxp. You have highlighted the exact concern that I have with the roof fabric and that would be my main reason for the extended warranty. I am going to take this up with Nissan directly as in my mind a roof should be fit for purpose, my third roof has only been on there three weeks so you would expect it to last more than a year! I will see how far I get.
  12. I know from the other thread that the consensus seems to be that the extended warranty is a waste of money. My only concern is that I have had two new roofs on mine, the second one was down to a manufacturing defect not linked to the other problems that people have had with their roofs. So this is more a question to convertible owners, are you / what are your views on taking an extended warranty from Nissan? Knowing how long it took to do the roof both times the labour charges alone are frightening to think about. Or would it be better to just put the money in a savings account and its there should it be needed?
  13. Mines 2010 and it came with two years free servicing, although they tried to wriggle out of the first time round. I know it went to three years later on but not sure when.
  14. Seems expensive, I was at the dealers yesterday and they quoted me around £480.00 for 1 year, I am looking now as mine's out of warranty in September. If I recall correctly the 3 year extension was around £ 1,400.00. These prices were for a 60 plate car though.
  15. Both insured by the same insurance company and they admitted fault, not much else they could say!!! so yes going through the TT drivers insurance.
  16. Goes in on Tuesday so will see what the Garage say. Really looking forward to the courtesy car, that's going to be fun
  17. Got rear ended by and Audi TT whilst stopped in traffic going home. No one hurt just annoying. Must say, tough car, felt like a pretty good impact probably 15 to 20 mph but only real damage is a couple of dents in the bumper and its pushed through a mounting pin. I guess it will be a new rear end will have to see if any damage underneath when it is inspected. Just hope the garage will match the paint and that it does not show up, will have to wait and see.
  18. Just thought I would post an update. Got a call form the dealer and Nissan have agreed to four new wheels
  19. Will go see the dealer tomorrow, see what happens.
  20. Hi Just wondering if anybody has seen this on their wheels, car is 18 months old now and this is happening on all four wheels. Thought it may be brake dust build up but have tried alloy wheel cleaner, but it does not shift it and I don't want to be too aggressive. May be a trip to the dealer I think http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i44 ... /Wheel.jpg
  21. Take the cash and claim the 45p (for the first 10,000 miles then 25p) per mile, for mileage if they will pay for mileage!!
  22. Tell the dealer you want a new roof as it will only get worse over time. I had a new roof as mine had a small fray in it, dealer said what do you want to do, I said I want a new roof. New roof fitted without any hassle.
  23. Not had any dealings with Westway but I am sure I read on the US forums that Nissan had issued a TSB with regards to the potential of the window to catch the top and damage it. I had a problem with my top fraying just above the door and WMLG got it done under warranty no problem. I would push for a replacement top if it is starting to fray. Good luck.
  24. I was walking back to work nice sounding exhaust note, did not sound standard.
  25. I do not have any problems with people hearing me in my roadster even when on the motorway. In fact people say its very clear, background noise is not an issue.
