1. Have always wondered would you really be able to see that much of a difference if you spent 40K on a pot of wax, I would hope so!!!
2. Hi and welcome I have had my auto for just over a year now and having driven a manual for a few days I must admit I prefer the auto. I do a lot of driving in traffic, you just can’t beat auto. If as others have said you want a bit more control of the car then manual is for you, but you soon get used to the quirks of the auto box. Best bet is to test drive both.
3. Must admit as said above I think it is hit and miss, luckily my claim for a new roof went through without any issue, thought Nissan may try and say I had caused the damage but no issues at all. I would hope going back to the dealer that supplied the car should count for something.
4. Looks good will try some, do you know if you can buy from any shops or is it online only? Had a quick look round but could only see it online.
5. Has anyone come across this, it’s a new roof on the car so treated it two weeks ago with Autoglym protector. Noticed the next week that the roof was holding water after it had rained so thought maybe I did not put enough on. Last weekend re cleaned the roof and retreated it and made sure it got a good coating, however the roof is still retaining the water. ( old roof never retained water after treatment) Anyone got an suggestions? Does the Autoglym go off over time bought three lots when on offer so its about 9 months old?

New tyres

Its fast approaching the time that I will need to change my tyres I was just wondering if you have changed your tyres and did not go with the RE050a's, which I have not found bad at all, what you went with and what you think of your choice? Price is not a major issue but I don't want to be paying a small fortune out if there are better options out there.
8. I have had the auto for just over a year now. Last week I had a manual 370 for three days whilst mine was in for a service. The auto box takes some getting used to and it still catches me out now and again. You definately have more control in the manual so if you like to have total control all of the time then it has to be manual. I would still stick with the auto, when you go to semi auto on the paddles you can drive the car how you like, you just adapt to the delay in the box as you get used to it and can drive it like the manual. Then when you are stuck in that mile long traffic jam the auto takes the strain. I think it comes down to personal choice but I would test drive both of them. Mpg I did not notice any real difference.
9. Yes no spare tyer, keeps the weight down and cheaper for Nissan
10. When I went to the dealer and told them I wanted a new roof putting on I mentioned that I had read on forums in the states that people had, had bad / shoddy work done and had to go back with the roof for it to be corrected. Dealer was very good said the GTR specialist would do the work. Must admit I was apprehensive going to pick the car up but on the face of it, it looks like the roof when new. Fitment looks good and tried the roof a couple of times and appears to work ok and all fits back into place. I am going to have a good look round it this weekend just to make sure. I am sure that I read on the US forums that Nissan had issued a TSB re the door catching the roof on the edges and that there was a fix for this. Nissan should sort the problem out under warranty, had no issue with my claim.
11. Here is a picture of the roof, its the start of a small fray in the centre, started out small but slowly got bigger.
12. Just had a new roof fitted today on my convertible along with its first service. Had a small wear mark on the side, the roof had been hitting a mounting when the roof folded away. Got it done under warranty and the garage seem to have done a good job, had the car for three days. Have some pics somewhere will post up if it helps?
13. Here are the pics of my 350z and 370z ( thanks Maccaman for the tip)

15. Hi everybody Lurked around the forum for ages now so thought it was about time to say Hi. Currently drive a 370z roadster, just had it for one year, first service today. Had a 350z for 4 1/2 years before the 370 and always found the forum very useful. Will put some pictures up when I work out how to do that. Hope to meet up with people at meets in the future. Marcus
