A9H-RX, your zed is absolutely mental man, the way the speedo jumps up when on boost is savage. You got anymore vids of your car either in car, or fly by vids. I will one day go the FI route but for now 'tis but a dream.

GMballistic - omg, such a savage car. Sounds awesome and looks great too. I love the fact it's understated and not over the top in terms of looks but has so much power. Ahhhh one day. Lol. Surprised there's not more vids on here of FI z's. Seems to be quite a few on the forum running vortech superchargers. Would be cool seeing some vids of their beasts.

in terms of fitting, is it a DIY job or is it a take to a bodyshop and have properly fitted. I am after a black one of these. Would it need to be properly sprayed black or is it already?I know it sounds like a stupid question since its black in the photo.

Sorry to hear about your zed. I am in need of a driver side window motor since mine has been broken for the last year and just haven't got round to getting it sorted. Really frustrating when pulling into car parks and trying to get the ticket and having to open the door would you be willing to sell?Cheers jay

Saw a really nice 350z pull up behind me last night at around 10.30pm, silver black front lip, looked pretty sweet. Think I saw the same one today around 3.15pm going towards Sunbury. Was on the A308 going the other way.

Think I'm going to get a stillen y-pipe, then get some break and handling upgrades. @rtbuscuit, I would love to go forced injection, but it's pretty expensive to go supercharged isn't it. Probably need to get other things done too to be able to handle the power increase. Plus reliability with fi.

Hi everyone, I have an 04 zed with the following mods, Scorpion exhaust Berk high flow cats Plenum spacer Ecu remap Currently producing 285bhp after the remap, was 266 before the uprev. Would love to get to the 300bhp mark. Any ideas on how I can get there? Or if it is possible? Was thinking : new y-pipe, not sure if it will help performance wise though 06 air box, saw someone on here had an 06 z's air box fitted to their 04 zed and they said it gave it a few more horses Any ideas would be greatly appreciated? Dannyboy I stand corrected, your right, I have the scorpion half system, which is just the rear silencer and link pipe. I have seen quite a few positive comments on hear regarding the berk HFCs and milltek cat back system. Apparently makes a lovely noise when booted.

It just doesn't sound like my usual HFCs noise. The raspy noise at 3k revs upon acceleration I got used to and then when I let off the accelerator and the revs drop down to around 3k the cats start their normal hiss/rasp. It's the strange different toned rasp that happens just before it that just doesn't sound right. It's never made that noise before, just seems really strange to start all of a sudden. thanks CS, I will have to have a look at the Cobra y-pipe. Does changing the y-pipe make much difference in terms of exhaust volume and tone or will it stay relatively the same? DannyBoy I have the scorpion cat back system, with the berk HFCs, it's just the y-pipe that's stock. I was looking at the milltek exhaust system, at least with that I would have gotten the complete package including a new y-pipe. Unfortunately I couldnt afford to go with it in the end.

Hi everyone, having an issue with my 04 z at the moment. I currently have HFCs, plenum spacer and scorpion exhaust fitted. I have been running berk HFCs for around 4 months now and have gotten used to the usual hfc hissing noise upon releasing the accelerator after booting it a bit, but I have started to get a different toned raspy/hissing noise at around 2-3k revs, upon accelerating. When I release the accelerator I get the odd sounding hissing/rasp before I get the normal rasp sound of the HFCs that I am used to hearing. I am not really sure what this could be that is causing it. My y-pipe is stock and looks like it needs to be replaced. The bits that sort of bulge out on the y-pipe, that look like are wrapped in a metal sheeting (not sure what they are called) look pretty buggered, looks like the metal sheeting has been burnt away a bit. Hopefully you can picture what I mean. I don't know whether this would be a cause, maybe a leak of air, or vibration of the frayed metal sheeting making the weird raspy noise?! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. One further question, would a y-pipe such as japspeed or stillen help improve air flow/increase performance over stock with the settup I have currently got? Thanks in advance Jay

Hi everyone, I seem to be having issues with my 350z at the moment. I was driving home from work the engine light suddenly came on, few minutes later the ESP off light came on the traction control light. I didn't know what had happened. Car now feels extremely sluggish low revs, it's ridiculous compared what it was like not long ago. Now it seems to struggle to start as well. If someone could shed some light on this that would be great. It's a 04 model, with berk HFCs, plenum spacer, scorpion exhaust and awaiting remap sometime soon. I know that the car needs remmaping to get the most out of the mods, but for it to suddenly loose so much low end power, something is definitely up. Please help Thanks Jay

Just want to say a big thanks to Jez at Horsham Developments for all the work he has put in on my 04 350z. I have been there a number of times over the last few months starting with just a service, then moved onto modifying, with plenum spacer, airfilter, berk hfc's and scorpion exhaust. He always managed to fit me in, even with very short notice. With fantastic customer service and an awesome knowledge of modifying the zed, I honestly can't see myself going anywhere else for any of my cars needs. So thankyou Jez and I will be booking the Zed in for the remap soon.

I have the same noise. I had the berk high flow cats fitted. I was told its a normal notice for high flow cats. Looking at getting an exhaust system to hopefully make it less noticeable.
