Also funny how they charge more when the car is newer? that makes sense lol! I think i am extra begrudging as i do a lot of mechanical on my other cars and know the cost of parts. In the grand scheme of things, £199 ain't bad.

That's where i went for my test drive. The salesman was the biggest tw4t i ever met. Showed no interest, on the test drive just told me the obvious stuff. After getting out of the car he was ready to lock it up, i had to ask him for a look in the boot and for a listen to the stereo. Then on return to the shop, he was discussing the deal in the general tea area, on top of a cabinet. Disgraceful! My mrs was buying a Merc just weeks before and the service was night and day! Needless to say i didn't buy the car from Aldershot (he didn't deserve the sale). I went to Mill Hill, not that the service was a scratch on Merc.

you are right, i had to go to Mill Hill to buy mine as Hanwell said they weren't allowed! lol!

I do really like the car overall, as a drivers car it is great. Lacks a bit of power, but handling is amazing! Other niggles i have found: Gearbox still makes noise when releasing the clutch quick at low speed (Mainly 1st and 2nd Gear) when clutch is up there is a slight whine, when depressed it goes. Sounds like clutch bearing is noisy, has anyone else experienced this? The mirrors do not autofold when locking the car, how useless! Qashquis do it, Jukes do it, even f-in micras do it! but does a top of the range 370?? no!!

Update time: Took the car to Westway Nissan Hanwell (biggest mistake ever). The car had three issues, the boot, wind noise from the drivers side window at any speed over 60 and the USB didn't charge my phone. I dropped the car off, they looked around it and found nothing wrong apart from a little scuff on one of the wheels. This was marked down. They gave me a Juke as a courtesy, which made a change for a micra lol! On return to Nissan, they had washed my car and cleaned inside which was nice of them. They fixed the wind noise issue, said the boot was no longer a problem (i think when you open and close is numerous times in a row, the problem goes away), although it re-appeared only a day later and they said the USB issue was not an issue as they tried with various phones and it worked fine :/ He never mentioned anything else, I was happy to get the car back, jumped in and drove down the road to Currys PC World, about 30mins later i go to get back in the car and notice a Scratch on the roof!!! i was furious to say the least so went straight back. The "Service Adviser" advised that any damage would be marked on the service job card and he would let me know on monday as the service guys had gone home. I then drove home and on further inspection saw another scratch on the drivers side side skirt, needless to say i was not happy, I took snaps of both and sent a massive complaint to Nissan GB. on the monday i called Hanwell to find out what had been recorded. He said the scratch had been recorded on the job card. He said after washing the car the service dept record any damage again! This is utter rubbish. If you washed the car and found a scratch would you not let the customer know as soon as it was discovered? this is a near enough brand new motor!!! i then informed him of the second scratch and guess what??? it wasn't recorded anywhere. Whats to say they didn't amned the job card retrospectively?? anyway, long story short, Nissan GB said they can't do anything as they have no power over the Dealers. So i have now written to the Motor Ombudsmen. Oh.. and the funniest thing about it all? I paid nearly £500 for Scratch proof paint!!!!

hey Bud, I just booked in my 2017 Nismo with Mill Hill, they said £199 for a Oil, Oil Filter, Pollen Filter and screenwash top up, as well as a health check and emailed video. i see you are not too far from me, What doe HPC stand for and where are they?

What an entertaining read lol! OK, so i feel like i am in battle with the steering wheel too, the first time it happened it was quite scary as the road was bent out of shape just before the lights, lights turned red and the car almost jumped in the next lane. i have read up on it, and found that it was a characteristic of the car, so i just live with it. It doesn't happen all the time, just a result of having wide tyres up front. I have the same width on the back of my 200sx

I tested the ebay one today. It performed flawlessly on hard braking, cornering and rough roads. You can get two for the price of the branded one. And you get 2 plates with it too. So that's 2 magnets and 4 plates for 7 quid

Sounds like that will be the solution. But I think Nissan need to put some effort in first. If all of us complained maybe they would get their finger out their bum! Lol

Any volunteers in Kent?? Let me check with Nissan on Friday (if its something configurable and easy), however, i have a feeling it won't be that simple if the newer GTR's don't have it. If this is not an option then lets pursue the option above. its not cheap, but i think worth it.

Hi Guys, i am back! I got the car back last friday, all nice and fresh again. I took a 200 mile trip in it, and must say its great on the motorway! Finally burst its 1000 mile cherry I have noticed a couple of issues however. I get wind noise at around 60mph on the drivers side (window) and the USB in the centre console cubby thing has stopped working?? Got it booked into Nissan to have those things sorted, and the boot poppers too. Will be in the garage next friday.

Spoke to Nissan about this today (Parts Department) and was told this is something that should be programmable from the Key/Ecu Menus. At least it was on his 2013 Qashqui, I was told to consult the user manual and then if it looks likely book it into the service dept. I looked at the manual and it does mention Remote fold, but says ignition must be on or ACC so doesn't make sense on how that is remote lol! I have the car booked in for other stuff on Friday next week so will ask then. I mean the new micra has them FFS!

I know i may seem a cheapskate, but i bought the ebay one for £3.49 and it seems to be great. supplied in the UK, came quick and mounted up OK. Haven't driven with it yet so will keep you guys posted.

I bought a few options on eBay. Will let you know which is best

Hi guys, I like the sat nav in the car, however waze is MUCH better. I want to mount my phone somewhere, but dont want to use an ugly phone holder. How have you done It? Ideas please!

I went to see it today and it looks just like it did. Only done less than 5 miles. They were obviously looking for a tracker as bits of interior trim were removed. They also stole my sunglasses from the car and curbed one of my alloys. But apart from that she is good. The garage will book her into nissan to have the keys swapped over and a full engine assessment. Once all clear and fixed i will get it back. Although i have been told its not likely to be this side of xmas.

Hi guys, has there been any progress on this? I have a 2017 370z Nismo. I always want to good my mirrors, however if I press the button before switching off the car then I can't see if there are cars coming before I open the door. Big bug bear. My nissan Micra courtesy car had auto folding mirrors. Embarrassing.

Cops found it today!!! Yay!! Will let you know more when I get it back.
