I am so gutted. The more I think about it the more sad I feel. I just hope the car is ok and lives on, even if that means it's in a different country. One big thing I would say to everyone else on here. Get a tracker fitted.

Its so sad, although it had its quirks, i really liked the car, and it turned so many heads. I am going to go and have a look around just now in estates and car parks. My next worry is the insurance, i hope they play ball, or even better the car is found in good shape.

Me too bud. Dirty pikey tramps. Not sure I would be getting a replacement, let's see what happens.

Hi Guys, i am very sad to announce that my car was stolen from my driveway on Sunday 26th November at 7.41pm. There were four of them, they first broke into my house and turned over every room, after finding the keys they took off with our valuebles in the 370 I have a private plate (which they could have swapped by now) and more distinctive is the front and rear Z badges, front being black and rear being chrome. If anyone sees the car anywhere, please report it to the police right away! It was booked into Nissan for this Thursday to swap out the boot pop spring things

oh and just to add, if the car costs more than 40K when brand new, you must supplement the £140 with an additional £310 for the first five years after the 1st year the car is taxed. I ordered my car November 2016, i was looking to collect it around March 2017 (New Plate), then i discovered that the road tax would be lower if i had it registered post April 2017. The dealer was not happy about it and didn't want to do it as it would mean the first year of road tax would be £1700 (as the Z has 248g/km CO2) which they would have to pay instead of £850! So i met them in the middle and paint the other £850 and we registered it after 1st April So now my road tax is the same as my mates 2017 micra Here are the rates for anyone interested. Sorry guys i ain't been on in a while. What is PPF?

So worth taking it back to the dealers then? Looks like its a common fault, like the gearbox/clutch clunk at take off at low speed. I got the car in April and was quite severely ill for 2 months, 2 days after getting the car. The fact that i also have 2 other cars means i don't drive the Z for short shitty journeys like going to Tesco or the school run. Plus i have been out of work since the end of August, so have no daily commute. I would like to drive it more, but i refuse to take it to some places lol!

I haven't been on this forum for a while now, predominantly as it doesn't work with tapatalk! Some little updates, the car is now at 800 miles and i have given it a rev to 6k, what a difference!! Some negatives i have noticed: The wheels tend to want to try and follow the road, which means you need to battle with the steering sometimes. I thought something was wrong with the car to begin with, but realised its a trait of the car having 245 wide wheels on the front. I have 245 on the rear of the 200sx lol!! The boot don't open first time every time, but i found a good fix for it, so will be doing this: and finally the visibility is a bit of a nightmare, when taking certain right turns you are forced to take them blind as you can't see anything from the big blind spot behind you!! Its still a great car and i do like it, i just wish it was a little more agile. One thing i do like is the juke box, cool touch! and the maps, the way it tells you there is a speed camera in "300 Yds" even when you are not navigating

Probably about 30, used it for work, 12 mile journey, mix of A roads, dual carriage way and Motorway.

Little update, i got 200 miles out of a full tank, keeping revs under 4k!!!

Ah, i read this somewhere, was probably your post. I will have to be ultra careful. You sure its not just the lacquer? I was told by the dealer to be ultra careful with the paint as it doesn't fully harden for something like 12 months, as it is water based :o

I am still pootling mine around upto 4k, so many people try it on, and i am particularly resentful when its an Audi driver and i can't do anything I am not even at 200 miles yet I haven't really noticed any creaking from the seat, but then i haven't moved it apart from adjusting the knobby bits lol! I have noticed a rattle from somewhere in the boot, i think its the blind/shade/parcel shelf thing, but i am not "that" bothered by it to even check. the only other niggle is the noise it makes when you disengage 1st gear quickly when moving slowly. It makes a clunky sound, which is apparently a characteristic of the Nismo. Apart from that, its a real head turner, since i have bought it, i have not seen another on the road. Yeah that rattle irritates me around town, but then I turn the radio on and its gone Can't hear it at higher speeds say 50 or higher. Be glad you haven't gone higher, since I can now go more than 5k RPM, which only really happens on a slip road, I have average 21mpg hahaha, before that I got high 20s Just can't keep out of the loud pedal once its nice and warm/hot.. oil has to be at least 90 or higher before I'll take her above 5k, highest the oils gotten is about 95 and then I decided to let her cool off a bit Oh, its probably a blessing in disguise, i will be having a blast at every opportunity i get once i let let break in. You have to remember that i have a MR2 which is VVTI and a 200sx, both like to rev, MR2 comes to life at 4k, 200sx at 3k

Omg! I found my twin. I was thinking the same when I got mine. What's to mod I thought. Then I pulled the badges off and stuck a black one on. Only today I was thinking of blacking the handles and came on here to ask about it. How much did it cost if you don't mind me asking? Also exhaust note I agree is a bit weak so that May be next on the list. However I have only had the car 2 months, ain't run it in yet, not even done 200 miles lol!! I think I need to check myself. Cool.. you must be well looking forward to it! I think the only mod I have in mind at the moment is a turbo or supercharger kit. But won't be touching it mechanically (in terms of mods) for its warranty period. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

I raised it with the dealers u bought it from. He said the mechanics were aware and have removed them as someone had an accident as a result of them being left on :o Might double check anyway. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
