Interesting you mentioned tattoos as I am slightly, very slightly that is concerned as I am heavily tattooed with an 'aggressive' Japanese style. - I have been told that you can't sunbathe on certain beaches and can't visit certain baths etc, but I have also heard that it's possible to be removed from restaurants etc if they notice you have tattoos..
