  3. Possibly a faulty speed converter as it's an import. Mine was a small black box zip tied above the pedals. The module behind the aircon also controls the speed output, worth checking the cables haven't come loose.
  4. Clearing out some parts left over from the 350z. Happy to take offers, especially if you're collecting multiple bits (want my shed back!) I'd prefer collection if possible from Bournemouth but posting is possible. ################# BITS STILL AVAILABLE ################# 7. Flyboy auto folding mirror kit. 6. What a day for a BBQ (which was definitely not a party) I'm glad the weather warnings didn't put anyone off what an awesome day The Zed Shed BBQ attachment Correct quantity of candles (representing mental age) During the war, we used to pull these silly faces to confuse the enemy
  7. Are you building a heavy duty military vehicle or weekend toy?
  8. Mine had similar issues recently with intermittent starting, P0420 sometimes. Turned out to be one of the coilpacks. Got mine from Keyser, he has some used ones in stock
  9. Is that to hold your pizza whilst you work?
  10. SOLD Asking price was £4650 but I'd like it off my driveway so here goes starting from £1. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-Well-looked-after-sunset-orange-JDM-Brembo-brakes-84k-miles/153293106141?hash=item23b0fb2bdd:g:JgcAAOSwLKhb~Uob:rk:1:pf:0 It's finally time to sell my much loved Nissan 350z. It's registered as a 2003 import. Semi-automatic gearbox. 84,400 miles on the clock. MOT until 29/08/19. A few tasteful but subtle mods to make it a more enjoyable driving experience. I purchased the car in early 2011 with the intention of keeping it for 2-3 year (cars + girlfriends had only ever lasted 18 months!). More than 7 years later, I've finally found a new toy (supercharged 370z) to start the journey again. It's been a joy to drive and by far the most reliable car I've owned. Maintenance is simple and inexpensive. I've always selected high quality fluids / filters for every service and provided them to the garage for use during services. Always run on super unleaded. Service history (mileage - date): 12278 - 22/02/08 18347 - 09/02/09 28191 - 17/02/10 35359 - 18/08/11 44898 - 22/08/12 52287 - 30/08/13 54000 - 01/12/13 (flushed coolant and brake fluid, new spark plugs) 59272 - 11/08/14 65868 - 20/07/15 72133 - 19/10/16 (flushed coolant) 77818 - 05/09/17 (flushed coolant and brake fluid) 83088 - 15/08/18 (new spark plugs) Standard spec: 3.5l v6 engine Bose sound system with subwoofer Heated / electric seats Electric windows Electric mirrors Styling upgrades: Front /rear bumpers and number plate (same as UK GT spec) Rays forged alloys (same as UK GT spec) Nismo rear spoiler Personalised number plate included (V6 ESO, meant to look like V6 350... Previous owner purchased it, hides the age of the car nicely!) Brake upgrades (massively improved stopping power): Brembo calipers (same as UK GT spec) DBA T3 rotors Ferodo 2500 brake pads Braided brake lines Race spec brake fluid Engine/exhaust upgrades: Uprev remap by Horsham Developments in 2016 Software delimited (no hardware delimiter to mess things up. Imports are limited to ~107mph) Invidia Gemini cat-back exhaust, titanium tips. Fitted 2017 Berk high flow cats Orange anodised plenum spacer Hydrodipped plenum (easier to keep clean!) HKS air filter Other upgrades: Car has extensive sound proofing to help cut out all the rattles, road noise and improve the music sound quality. Even with a large sound system, it will not rattle. Second skin damping mat covering the rear half and both doors Second skin closed cell foam covering the boot area Whiteline adjustable rear drop-links (fitted 2018) Rear view camera fitted, didn't get round to wiring it in. Bad points: Parking scrapes on the bumpers (thanks ex-work colleagues!) Stone chipped front bumper (normal for these cars) Neighbour's cat enjoys the warm engine so a few claw marks from when it gets heavily waxed and the cat slips off. Boot plastics are heavily scratched. This car has been used to carry lengths of timber and all sorts (works fine for 2.4m lengths!). They're easily replaced and cheap to acquire. Some knocking can be heard at low speed when going over bumps on certain surfaces. Common issue on these cars. This was mostly sorted by replacing the rear drop links (upgraded to adjustable ones). It's likely another bushing on its way out. Had the garage check this at MOT/service time and reported that it all looks fine. Minor kerbing on the wheels Carbon strut brace cover was my first practice attempt. It's far from perfect but functional. The original is also available. I have a few spare parts for this car, they're not included with the sale but if needed: Full boot build to fit a subwoofer/amps (looks totally standard, retains original floor height) Custom A-pillars for larger tweeters Doors pods for larger speakers DBA T3 rotors, Ferodo 2500 pads Various interior panels to customise Carbon mirror covers Auto mirror folding module I'm based down in sunny Bournemouth. Welcome to test drive if your insurance will cover the car, otherwise I'll do the driving. My number is [redacted] if you have any questions.
  11. I see plenty of unused ceiling space. Mount the steel sheets to the ceiling, magnetise all new tools and BANG, you're stuck to the ceiling
  12. Whilst Chris was distracted on the 15th coffee Kim kindly made us and "during the war..." I may have quickly (actually it was really slow with all the traffic!) driven off with Hissing Sid Now it has a new home Even in stop-start traffic, my face was still doing this love this car! Cheers Chris
  13. Thought I was reading a whole week's worth of updates.... All that since Saturday?
  14. If you have the original stillen ones, I'll be happy to make some carbon copies
  15. Should have it done by the afternoon. Easy
  16. Not got a spare Hayabusa or LS3 lump knocking around?
  17. When you said this, I thought you were gonna just pour some race fuel, flick a cigarette and be done. So much space now! What happened to the mini?
  18. Kim, Chris, thanks for hosting, all the food, drink, lovely garden. Was an awesome afternoon with everyone there (looks like everyone survived the food, think I'm safe for another year...)
  19. Normally wouldn't turn down a bit of 3 way action but joining the hotel posse (should probably book the accommodation...)
