    Exhaust Blowing

Thanks for the video addition, BM! Nice! Any recommended things to accompany the Invidia Gemini cat-back? Popcharger? HFC? I'd probably do it in stages tbh (as cash is not something I'm particularly flush with right now).

Fair enough... sorry about that, never heard of the product before so thought I'd do a quick search (as I have the burnt orange leather seats too).

Just to let you know (correct me if I'm wrong), but can't you pick up the Gliptone kit including microfibre cloth and applicator pad for £8.99? http://www.perfectlycleaned.co.uk/gliptone-leather-care-pack-gt11-conditioner--gt12-cleaner-with-applicator-pad-and-microfibre-1237-p.asp

Thanks CrumbMC! Very useful and potentially a bullet dodged for me! Definitely something to look out for!
  5. Thanks for the advice... I'm just looking to get a group of people to the ring for a day as the weather is now improving nicely!
  6. I'm not sure... I just heard that some people get one day insurance for use on the track in case of an incident (as your normal insurance doesn't cover it)...
  7. I would gladly take that TT off your hands!

    Exhaust Blowing

Ah okay. Haven't heard it in person, no... but the note I'm looking to go for is a deep throaty noise. Currently with the stock system (as it's blowing) - not using the backbox, I measured it yesterday at 103dB... I don't mind it, but I'm sure my neighbours hate it! What would the shipping be for the Invidia to Luxembourg though? It's a pretty large package so I assume not cheap!
  9. That's a good shout, not planning on going crazy round the track anyways, but just on a side note, does anyone actually bother with the day insurance?

Thanks for the advice. Couple more questions if you don't mind... 1. How easy is it to fit the exhaust yourself for someone who isn't particularly experienced such as myself? 2. Is there any benefit to having a true dual (like the Buddy Club) opposed to single backbox (Invidia)? Btw, absolutely love the look of the titanium endings for the Invidia Steve!

Thanks for the reply Steve. How much is the Invidia cat-back? I am currently inquiring about the Buddy Club Pro Spec Cat back from a company in France which is nicely priced at 819€ (around £700). Does anyone know if I need a full system? Or could I just change one part?

    Exhaust Blowing

After spending a decent amount of time on the Zed yesterday afternoon cleaning it, I discovered the problem with my exhaust (stock), and it is the connection (flange) between the backbox and centre pipe that has broke. I genuinely would like to think about an aftermarket system, but can't afford anything too pricey... and welding it up might be a no-go, because it looks like it's been welded up before! Only issue with me getting an aftermarket exhaust is that I require a TUV approval certificate on purhcasing it (as a legal requirement for Luxembourg registered cars in terms of modifications). Any help/advice would be appreciated. Cheers, Ryan

    Good Luck in your search!
  15. One final photo... including my younger brother's little pocket rocket. CTR EP3. Always fun to go out for a cruise when the weather's nice!
  16. Thanks, only problem with the aerial is that it isn't the best at picking up signal! haha. Not that I listen to the radio much anyway!!
  17. ... and before I get any stick for it, I know I have Nismo decals (despite it not being a Nismo) - Just something I thought looked nice and am in the process of considering a nismo catback and v2 kit...
  18. So I decided to spend my hungover Sunday and take advantage of the decent weather to give my Zed the first thorough clean after the winter. I've been thinking about making a few subtle styling mods... any ideas/advice would be appreciated!
