  1. Gun Metal 350Z on the A10 heading north from Great Cambridge towards Enfield. Just seen you, 56 plate I thought, but was distant.
  2. Burgundy, black alloys and no badges. Looked good!
  3. Like the thread, got some good points in it. Price compromise obviously also compromises safety one way or another. I had Nexen rear tyres on my Z when I bought it and the Bridgestone Potenza on the front. Obviously not ideal; mis-matched and BUDGET on the rears. Now I've changed to 4 x Falken 452s due to advice from the forum a while back and I think they're a pretty good balance. The 'ditchfinder' is the muppet behind the wheel, not what surrounds it.
  4. Azure 2006 plate + a heavily modded Sunset KU05, an animal! Thanks to Japex as always, what a great bunch
  5. GM 350Z with Rays, I think plate started with an 'E'. Spotted parked up outside Sainsbury's Local on London Road at around 5pm on Firday 10th Feb.
  6. GM / Blade (I think it was blade) in the Tesco carpark (Southbury road, near Enfield Town Station). Plate was AP04 I believe, and it was the week before Christmas some time, I forget exactly when. I parked next to you, but was gone before you returned
  7. All gone now, thanks. This thread can be closed. Dan
  8. Just giving this a bump as the Bluetooth Cradle hasn't sold. If anyone is interested then I'll let it go for free (just postage) as opposed to binning it! Thanks, Dan
  9. Plate was: OV54 (I think). Parked on a driveway at the back of Little Park Gardens, next to the bus station. Who are ya?
  10. Damn, it wasn't me but I wish it was. Another Enfield 350Z owner are you? I think I flashed / waved a black 350Z on The Ridgeway this weekend but I can't remember when. P.S. I love what you've done to your GM. How much have you spent on the wheels + bodywork?
  11. On my way back up the A1 to Lincolnshire last night (around 10pm, just south of RAF Wittering), came across 2 Black 350Zs. Was laughing my head off in the car as we took it in turns to show them off I flashed one of you and got a hazard flash in return...forum members?
  12. Black, modified bonnet, alloys and Z badges, DU53... Surely a member with all those mods? I once saw 3 350s all parked outside your house too! Nice car anyway
  13. Spotted on the A17 Plate: WV55... Didn't have any flyering cards with me
  14. GM 350Z, GT version (with the Alezan trim, 2004 plate spotted outside Crystal Nissan, Lincoln. Had just been traded in for a 370Z... Who is the guilty culprit?
  15. Just adding my experience of Crystal Nissan, Lincoln. I went there for the first time on Friday, just for an MOT. They booked me in a quite late notice and worked around me as I turned up late due to traffic. The guys in there all seem very friendly and genuinely interested / passionate about a 350 / 370 coming in for any work. I had a quick chat with one of the guys before I left and can confirm that they are happy to offer a 10% discount to forum members.
  16. and I am not remotely jealous of him! 2 years younger than my Z Same mileage Almost identical fuel economy (no economy ) 0-60 mph in 0.1 seconds less than my Z 10 horsepower more than my Z ...more than double the price of my Z I just thought I'd share that thought with you all. I've been for a ride in the Cayman, it's awesome, feels a fair bit tighter and lighter than the 350 but, in no way would I rather have it. One happy owner here
  17. I'm not sure now mate, was a long time ago when I researched all of this! Everything I know is in one of my previous posts but I think you've got it all there. Make the most of Car Audio Centre and phone them up, the tech support on the phone was brilliant and they will confirm everything you need. If you don't want to buy it from them there are no obligations so make the most of the great service anyway. I bought it all from them because they let me haggle a bit to price-match other prices I found online. I have also since found out that the volume can be controlled by sliding your finger over the screen when you have the screen turned off to black (I always fade it when listening to music) so that't good to know. In response to the last comment about it being a bit of a fiddly menu, I agree it is a bit fiddly to navigate within your ipod / usb but once you've selected a playlist / album it's not really a big deal and it beats trying to do it on your ipod whilst driving which is what I used to do in my Corsa Hope that helps, Dan
  18. We'll have to agree to disagree here then. I love the Z because it gives me so much more than I should ever be able to get for its price tag. Also find it funny that it's a Nissan more than anything. Totally understand where you're all coming from but I think crushing the Zs or the GTR over simply a branding issue is madness. Both cars look awesome and are simply brilliant. If you ask me, the mainstream sports / super-cars are boring, Nissan bring some personality back into it with theirs.
  19. Are you really serious? You're saying that the GTR is worthless because it was made by Nissan? That's crazy...anyone who has seen my Z has either been into cars enough to know that the Z is awesome regardless of whether 'the same people' made the Micra or they have known so little that they couldn't even deduce that it was a Nissan with the Z badges on it...Either way, who cares?! If anything, I prefer it to be made by some clever people at Nissan and be a Nissan. It is unpretentious and is loved for what it is, not for the complete BS that most cars similar represent. The Z actually has some character. On the Nissan parts / aftersales etc...again...who cares? If I had the money to buy a car like the Z new then I wouldn't care about those costs...but I don't. So, I enjoy being able to take my car to people who are passionate about cars (Japex for example) where I know the car will be looked after better than it would at a dealership anyway. The badge is a piece of metal...the GTR is just genius.
  20. Disagree, that train was brilliant! I've been loving this series, the last one was crap in my opinion but they seem to be back on track this time.
  21. Could do with some rubber fixed on the inside of the jag wheels, might actually go then. I'm sure Clarkson won't let us down though. Rowan Atkinson is also a massive legend!
  22. Well I can't afford a new Z so...in 7 years time maybe I'll be able to get a GTR I feel a massive sense of loyalty to Nissan sports cars now, love them!
