  1. Fair play to the fella! As long as they aren't taking it too seriously that is a grand effort!
  2. I don't think there is any argument to be had about what the best control method is, it has been proven that mouse and keyboard is quicker, more accurate etc. But I don't think game playing is about that is it? If you went into an arcade the machines are set up so you hold a gun if shooting stuff, or you sit in a seat and hold a steering wheel if driving stuff, you don't have a mouse and keyboard. Personally I prefer the experience compared to the accuracy/response thing, so when I pull a trigger on a joypad to shoot something it 'feels' better than clicking a mouse button which ten minutes before I was using to highlight cells A1 to D6 in a spreadsheet.
  3. If you really want to do it use flyeyes (google it), it lets light through (albeit not as much as without, but is meant to be legal) and you can reverse it easily enough, just rip it off.
  4. Thanks deputy j350 I was out giving the Zed a spin, working at home and just thought sod it 20 mins on some A roads wont hurt!
  5. White with panoramic sunroof is spot on actually... See Dave, that could be you there, looking cool

  10. Oh god yeah you wont get money back on labour...it is a bit of a minefield out there with body kits, never realised how bad it was myself till I bought a Zed!
  11. Oh jeez, how comes ebay said you got it from the US if you clearly bought it from some cowboy in Chatham?
  12. I ALWAYS make a mistake first time around...looks like I could be buying Graham a few beers!
  13. Various claims that he is dead and alive, some saying that he was shot in both legs and flown to hospital near death.
  14. Yeah I was talking about my momo gear knob installation last night which I made a pigs ear of. I also have a matching momo handbrake which I haven't done yet. I dont have a dremel so would have to hack at the handle with something to make the thing fit. I am bloody useless at using tools like drills ... wouldnt trust myself!
  15. ..and if my momo holds up for a few days with no problems will stick my KTA aluminium gear knob in the for sale section
  16. Problem with momo is that its not a screw on type, you need to fit a rubber spacer on the gear shaft and put in three supporting screws through the gear knob to secure in place. Its a right faff and whilst securing the screws I managed to break the thread on one of the holes, so I got a securing screw stuck in there and its held on by the other two, tightened right up, no rattles but will be a sod to get off again!
  17. Doesn't say much for a Ford Focus TC system...I remember being woefully stuck in the snow on an equally tough hill last year in my Astra, there was no TC button in the cabin and I only discovered it by chance, to turn it off I had to hold down the Sport button for a few seconds. Then I span like crazy as I inched up the hill...it was a nightmare.
  18. What about a VX220 turbo? Great standard but throw a little bit of money at it and your looking at 250bhp in a car that weighs as must as a moist flannel. Was driving in this morning and thought to myself I should suggest a VX220T 0-60 in something like four and a half seconds, a very rapid and fun car. A mate of mine took his westfield up to a track a month or so ago and said he saw these things beating everything on the track Porsches the lot.
  19. Well...I ordered a momo matching gear knob to go with the handbrake I have and put it on last night, took me an hour and a half plus errors and things broken and swearing, just to put a gear knob on no way can I do a handbrake based on that lousy performance!
  20. Looks good, although not sure how he could have had 'all idiot controls on' and then 'spun the wheels frantically'...TC would have not allowed wheels spin I would have thought.
  21. The question got the expected answer really, no offence meant...this is definitely Nissan territory and should be done via the official channels.
  22. I saw this at the cinema, remember at the time people saying a fair bit was cut out. So might snap up the blue ray and watch again, lights down, surround sound cranked up. I remember growing up and loving motor racing from a young age, Senna was always up there, I remember him lapping round one race and a young irishman called Eddie Irvine holding him up, took Senna a while to get past and when he did let his guard down and Irvine retook him! Senna was going mental and after the race charged down the pitlane and had 'a physical altercation' with Irvine...super stuff from both sides there. I was watching on TV when he died, Murray Walker in pieces on the commentary, just couldnt believe it.
