  1. Well done, Chris, looks modern! Just need to amend the prices by -25% and we're good to go / ready to order! :p Ask your developer to use some CSS sprites / minify (combine all JS scripts, stylesheets, etc). Maybe use a CDN for images? Put the JS at the bottom, too, always helps. Also use gzip to compress, and add expires headers. E-Commerce websites in production need to be lightning fast
  2. WINDOWS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AFTER DOOR CARD FITED BACK? If the windows do not close automatically or the power window automatic function (closing only) does not operate properly, perform the following procedure to initialize the power window system: 1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position. 2. Close the door. 3. Open the window completely by operating the power window switch. 4. Pull the power window switch and hold it to close the window, and then hold the switch more than 3 seconds after the window is closed completely. 5. Release the power window switch. Operate the window by the automatic function to confirm the initialization is complete. 6. Perform steps 2 through 5 above for other windows.
  3. I can help shipping doughnuts to Bali! Have fun guys! I'm off to ASDA as well!
  4. The 370Z doesn't have any downsides but the Nismo version is not worth the price difference. That body kit ruins the 370z IMHO. Only 16bhp more, red calipers and crappy seats? You can get that performance with an UpRev for only £400
  5. Temporarily fitted like that, I don't have time this week to cut and adjust the gear lever. It looks nice to me, I quite like it This is the size that I would need to trim, about 15mm:
  6. I'm not that lucky, trust me! What a cracking weekend we had! Specially the driving on Sat night and Sunday afternoon
  7. It may look better, but doesn't perform as good mine! Wait, are we still talking about the gear knob?
  8. Door inserts removed, forgot to attach these photos, too. Will have the handle in matching red leather, and the middle part in red Alcantara. Taking them to AUTOAUDIO tomorrow morning, perhaps they can do them same day.
  9. Not saying about the holes, just the way the stick itself is designed. I'll just take a photo with both, one sec!
  10. Oh man, can I just thank the engineer who re-designed the 370z oil dipstick! So easy the read the oil level now, even Wasso would be able to do it!
  11. It's a PITA to remove them once they stuck, had to cut the valve and replace it I then purchased these and use some grease on the thread http://cgi.ebay.co.u...ME:L:OU:GB:3160 Edit: Mine were Nismo from Tarmac, to be 100% accurate
  12. Some more work done today on the 370z while awaiting for the Y pipe for the 350z to arrive from Mark @ Abbey, I had the HR version, stupid me Had some intermittent connection on the AUX IN port so I thought I might buy a new one from Nissan. Went to WLMG Nissan Mill Hill and they started laughing at me after checking the price: £75 !!! Went to Maplin, bought a connector and build myself a new AUX IN port The AUX IN port: The connector that goes behind it, coming from the central console: New stereo jack: Cut the connector: Solder new wires on the new connector: All working perfectly fine, time to fix: 30 minutes. Cost: £1.49 The I removed the door cards and so I can take the inserts to be re-trimmed in red leather and alcantara tomorrow, 10 minutes job, 3 x 10mm bolts and some clips Door cards back on the car while the inserts are being re-trimmed, so I can still use the car
  13. Welcome! So we now have a contact in Japan, perfect! Me thinks: Hmm, some 370z Nismo goodies
  14. Wasso, are you ever going to get some proper wheels? Cheapskate! So, has the Insignificant Crimes Police found your exhaust yet?
  15. A little bit of development here, after nearly finishing with the "350z back to OEM", I've put the 370z in and removed the RT PERFORMANCE lettering: I've cleaned the red seats which were full of dust, grease and grime from where they were stored by the breakers: Used "two bolls of water" method  some PEARS soap, a clean sponge and some Meguiars RichLeather at the end: First I've used the soap on all stains on the leather, leaving the suede part alone as it was quite clean. Then cleaned with the sponge Bob Dirt started to come off: The proceed on the rest of the seat: Looking brand new now, not one single stain! In order to condition the leather and seal it I've used some Meguiars RichLeather: Made the leather show the wet look, but no slippery silicone at all Fitted new airbag: Removed the main loom that was cut when the seats were taken out the car by the breakers: Fitted the passenger seat first: And the drivers seat after: They work perfectly, no Airbag error lights shown, all functions work fine Alezan 370z seats will be listed for sale soon, they will fit the 350z as well, I've checked
