If it's new crank, bearings, gaskets, you're looking at over £1k for parts alone unfortunately. Now, finding a crank available it's a proper adventure, they are very rarely in stock, takes forever to arrive from Japan. I'll ask Nissan now, just to have it ready in case you need it. Adrian

With oil bleeding like that you're keeping the engine started and revving it? Turn it off and the leak needs to be properly investigated. First, have a look at the oil filter if it's properly secured and the sump plug if it's properly tightened. Oil cooler fitted? Any mods done recently?

René, the PCV system hardware includes a check-valve to control pressure. AAM says that not all their twin turbo build customers use oil catch cans. It is not something mandatory, but can be used as a form of extra "insurance" from blow-by. Standard catch cans will work perfectly fine in this application. Adrian
