  4. Most welcome Graeme!
  5. Will never ever be able to understand this "concept. In fact, WTF?!?!
  6. Keep the OEM stuff for when you sell your car next year
  7. And this is why we will never do business together. You bought a car 3 months ago, it broke, you've fixed it. I don't think it's worth any more now than what you paid for it 3 months ago hence breaking even is an achievement as you've paid out an amount towards fixing it. That is unless you got it cheap in the first place. If you did get it cheap then I don't personally think it's worth any more than any other good example on the market right now. You asked for opinions, that is mine. Let's clarify things a little bit I bought the car 3 months back. It didn't break, it was working absolutely fine, but because it had warranty I took it to a garage to be inspected, in case anything would have been wrong to be fixed under warranty. I've paid £12750 on it, which was about £2000 under the market value after hard negotiations, Darren was there with me, so he knows, down from £14000 asking price (which was a bit lower than the market already) So cars with similar mileage and age are advertised from £15k upwards, but no warranty and no rebuilt engine, so knowing Porsche's bore scoring problems with these engines and IMS failures let me disagree with you and say that this car is worth about £2k more than the market. It can be easily proven when it's going to be sold The garage has 2 other cars with exactly the same problem as mine, cars which have arrived after I took mine in. They're saying they're seeing at least 1 a month with serious bore scoring that needs engine rebuilt. At this rate, any other "good example on the market" is very prone to have the same issues, but because they don't come with warranty if you buy privately, in case they go wrong you'll end up with £6-8k bill, depending on the garage that does the work. Meanwhile, what's business got to do with personal opinions and debate here? We're not talking about TORQEN products and services, are we?
  8. You need a loooooooot fo imagination for that to happen
  9. Darren it's just playing with you folks, he's buying a GTR
  10. That was the risk you ran when you bought it. It could have cost you considerably more than that, so look at it that way. To be honest, what it's cost to fix I think you'll be doing well to break even; which is what I would have expected if the engine didn't eat itself given it was just a temporary, brief stop gap in the first place. Well done for choosing your nickname / username!
  11. I'd be making £1k loss. Not good I had to contribute towards the engine rebuild, warranty only pays £5k (hopefully)
  12. I don't really know what to say buddy, try B&Q or ScrewFix for some bolts and washers? True story
  13. Did you check the wardrobe as well? You never know what's hiding in there...
  14. Why? You feel tempted, too?
  15. Litchfield packages are like standard stuff, so common... so normal So, not modding it!
  16. To be quite honest I'd say don't buy it!!! That's only because you're my brother so I won't be able to make a good margin on it and I need the pennies for the GT-R Looking at similar models (Cayman S 2006, 55k to 85k miles) with no engine rebuilt (so chances to have bore scoring are as big as they were on my car) you can see them going from £15k upwards http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/cayman/porsche-cayman-24v-s-2006/4384209 http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/cayman/porsche-cayman-3-4s/4523981 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201507145192224 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201406124962712 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201506114239033 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/20150802571360 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201508105922873 and so on. Hard to put a price on mine, what do you guys think it will be a fair price, considering the brand new engine and 1 year warranty which is usually worth about £1k?
  17. So no need for "INSANE" button, it's just going to be insane from the start up.
  18. Litchfield Stage 4 - 5 it's more than enough. Seen these? http://www.amsperformance.com/cart/AMS-Nissan-R35-GT-R-Alpha-6-9-10-Performance-Upgrade-Packages.html
  19. I really don't know how to reply to this  SPL parts are expensive, but they are the best you can get in their category. Why do you need 2 sets?
