the dealer took the outside shot - I suspect his camera skills... its a deep burgundy type red (although it does change colour under different light conditions)

next week I'm heading darn sarf to get it wrapped with Suntek clear film - this paint HAS to be preserved whilst the stone chips on the zed were fairly minor.......... they annoyed the hell out of me - not happening on this one
