  1. Agreed it is a flagrant abuse of the law... but maybe the law needs to be changed. Our road laws are so archaic it is mad. I also struggle to believe that the German authorities will trust their citizens when it comes to appropriate speed (on the right roads) .... and this is a country that bans most images of violence (although I understand why!)
  2. It is like you ate some foam bananas then burped...
  3. Bubblegum? Oh, and my wax actually looks decent this time too! Not melted / oily so will actually have a stab with it
  4. I had assumed it's a small applicator pad, for those tiny, little, awkward places you can't usually get to with a normal size applicator. The real question is, what's the mystery product? Have you got it mate? Slightly pink, less chemical smelling than nanolex et al....
  5. Saw it at Goodwood FOS and left me cold ?
  6. Woo, box arrived and looks good. Any ideas what the small slice of foam is used for though?!!
  7. Am I the only one that doesn't like the Nismo Zed?
  8. Doing a commute up to Newcastle from London weekly and every tuesday/wednesday Ive seen it
  9. I used to use passive water cooling in the form of a Reserator - flashbacks!!
  10. Obviously gents with fine taste then, lol. Nanolex is so easy - reminds me of Z8 but is cheaper... And that glass cleaner is amazing. Not used another that in one wipe removes insect splatter from the windscreen. Also, now it is warm, when the plastics 'sweat' there is an oily film on the inside of my Mrs' car - shifts that too!
  11. Some people like the waxes, I spoke to the owner Richard about them - they're trying to move into a space where they have some decent formulas but are avoiding using the one or two chemists that make most other products, hence the journey they're on. I'm not a wax fan full stop, far prefer sealants but I like the surprise each month and, crucially, have discovered some brilliant products I now buy. For example, would never have bought Autobrite Hellshine Pain glass cleaner but it is amazing. Another example is the Nanolex Premium paint sealant - which I now also own 'in full' - but tbh the sample is what I'm still using as you hardly need any!
  12. Nice WC rig - I'm on air, but am not overclocked
  13. My car is slightly modded too. Ended up being £300 with mods 'covered' rather than having them excluded. Still very happy with that. The Mrs' sportka is £280 a year, so pretty damn good. And I'm a stripper, which is high risk.
  14. Old PCs - ebay with the kit unless it is REALLY old. You could always run an old PC as a bittorrent server / switch / media server or folding setup too. I tend to upgade every 18 months or so which I found to be the sweet spot to still recoup some cash for the 'old' kit (which would've been cutting edge when bought) Moore's law = a b@stard when it comes to finances!! Any of you guys running decent driving rigs? Got myself a Forge GT setup and loving modded Shift 2 using the Polish Tyre mod - almost like real driving
  15. Reminder guys - this months WaxyBox is nearly sold out Remember pm for a code
  16. Ah, some fellow geeks. I'm currently running an i7, 16gb of DDR3, Gigabyte Z68 mobo, HIS 7950, 128gb SSD and 8tb of storage. Have you tried Bioshock Infinite? Is awesome! Despite the rig, I still can't run Crysis 3 with all the bells and whistles cranked up without some slowdown :S
  17. I use bio powder. What you need though is an anti static quick detailer. Finishkare fk425 is your friend. And a damn good QD too
  18. Work looks brilliant, and great to see you making it your own. I'm going to buck the trend by saying I actually hate it - especially the colour - but I do respect it. Mainly as I associate gold / cream with old Rover 25s and the blue rinse brigade and can't shift away from that feeling. But if I could, I'd respray mine in a candy blue so I get the concept
  19. I'm 'only' 30 too - never had insurance that cheap
  20. Just accepted a quote for £275 inc mods... Protected no claims, £100 excess. Or six months road tax lol. The shameful thing is now I'm insured by diamond for women. The joy of it being illegal to sexually discriminate lol.
