  5. yep blue bike... Kawasaki ZX12r
  6. i was sat at the lights on my motorbike by the post office just under the bridge after picking up a parcel
  7. in redhill this morning
  8. all depends on what look your going for.... dark metallic or candy colours will always look classy, bright matallic or candy colours will look more bling.. bold prime colours can look racey.. bold yellow, red or green. dont ask why i choose an Aston for the comparison
  9. Husky was selling clear strips to fit the pre up rev cars viewtopic.php?f=156&t=51401
  10. +1 what he said search google images for custom colour 350z and you get a load of hits... some nice some not but it gives you some ideas colour is such a personal thing.. asking what we think you should paint your car is never going to get the answer you want. whats YOUR favorite colour?
  11. and therein lies the problem... i as a truthful person get asked will i use my car for work. i answer no. my car is sat at home and i work in such a place that i would be STUPID to try and drive (traffic)... thats what i own and insure a motorbike for (insure for commuting) and the insurance company doesnt believe me and loads the insurance anyway.... whats the point in asking the question in the first place! as for the bit about getting stung for being hit by another driver. it happens! it happend to me.. sat at the lights and i get run into from behind.. next year my insurance goes up and i ask why.. apparently i am statistically more like to to have a fault claim after a no fault claim.... statistics also say that the next person you bump into will have more that the UK average number of arms (only need 1 person to lose an arm to drop the average down by .00001%) ok some insurance comps are better than others but at the end of the day they will all twist statistics to suit themselves.. they are out to make money after all
  12. so as long as over the full length of the tunnel ie between the SPECS camera positions you average a speed of 70 you will be fine.... have since fitted a scorpion mid and back pipe to compliment the Motordyne XYZ... think i might have to go through again
  13. saw 2 this morning within minutes of each other. one heading north one heading south. gave both a thumbs up as i went past on the bike
  14. heard you first then saw a nice shiny black coupe in the underground car park in redhill
  15. yeah ok good advice.... i dont actually have a prob with it all coming in on one month and it wont make me cry if it all does.. if i couldnt afford to run the car or it was tight i wouldnt have bought it.. still good advice for anyone who is running a bit tight...
  16. should have sprayed it blue (the fastest colour)
  17. well its not going to go down so if its going to change it will only go up. i decide if to buy 6 or 12 months based on when my MOT / service / insurance is due.. try and stagger the dates as much as possible so as to lessen the blow. MOT / service / insurance and road tax all out of the same paycheck with def ruin your day
  18. thanks for that... they look nice! just fitted a carbon cover for the centre piece of mine (07) and am now thinking a full lip would look even better! interesting that the 06 - 08 lip doesnt seem to have the lower piece (dip) in the centre that the OE bumper has....
  19. nice front lip.... just had a look on the evo-r website.. they do some great gear on there! couldnt see the lip above on their website though??????
  20. im with Mark here... i cant see how its the garages responsibility to replace parts that were supplied by you if its the parts that are faulty. i would either have my motor professionally rebuilt or find a mate who knows what hes doing and for the price of a good night out have him help you rebuild it yourself. nothing like the sense of satisfaction of fixing it all yourself plus you KNOW how its been put together hope it all works out for you but i wouldnt buy a second hand engine i couldnt hear running... what your saying about the current block is that even if it doesnt work it will cost you £250... i could go into business selling broken engines that i will get given back to me an still earn £250 each time... i dont think i could sleep at night but i would be making money!
  21. quote of the year.....
  22. so do i......
