Good point...didn't think of it that way. I just had the R1 in mind and thought on those 1 exhaust looks way better, but some people prefer 2.

Hi mate, Yes I think it is the air intake pipe (the longer one that goes from plenum, under the strut brace to the MAF housing). What is the best material to get? I've heard some material has an adverse effect on intake. With regards to the flexi tube, I was not planning to add any additional cold air feed ducts or pipes. I wanted to extend the tube between the cone filter and the MAF/air flow sensor housing. Basically take off the cone, join a new tube to that black MAF tube, then connect the cone filter onto the end of that. This will result in the cone filter being closer to the factory air duct, being further away from the engine and lower down inside the heat shield compartment. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say as I've already confused myself! Thanks for your help. Hassan

Hello all, I'm not sure what it's called but I'm after a replacement for the black plastic tube that goes from the MAF sensor/throttle housing to the plenum. Can someone please help me with the name of that specific part? Also does anyone also recommend me add an extra intake tube from the MAF/throttle housing to he pop charger filter so it's closer to the front air duct next to the right hand headlight? Does everybody prefer 1 or 2 exhausts on their bikes? It would be interesting to see what everybody prefers. I think on bikes having 1 exhaust makes it look meaner. What does everybody else think? Think we should do a poll

Isn't that a bit over-priced...? I could be wrong though. Seeing as you're going to be getting an 06 plate, I would look for the facelift model which will be around 6 months newer. I am not too sure which tax bracket this one will fall under. You could end up paying £400+ for a non-facelift

A couple of people commented on mine at Wales and Japfest last year that my GM 'always looks brighter than others' and I think it is down to the glaze. I glaze it every 6 months or so, just did it again yesterday. Am in the process of layering the top coat, will be taking it to Wales next weekend so you can see it there? If not, will get some pics up! I applied 2 coats of the White Diamond Glaze and then 2 coats of AG HD wax. I will probably keep applying more costs of glaze and wax so I can increase the depth of the shine and protection. Apparently you can 'sandwich' the glaze in between layers of wax. Hopefully I'll see more a greater difference after the next coat of glaze and wax. Just after this detail, I parked up in a car park and 2 random guys were like 'f**king 'ell, can you get the car any cleaner?' I laughed and he asked me who's car it was and I was like it's mine. He then replied with 'Nice car man!'. How do you glaze it, with a DA or by hand? Does the glaze last 6 months!? My 330ci was 231 bhp but on some websites etc it was listed as a 227 bhp vehicle, I guess a lot of cars have this issue

I went to the Top Gear Live Show at Birmingham NEC where they had the Veyron with the plate 'F1' owned by Khan. Imagine the value of that plate... He owns a few G2,G3,4G. Think that's ones he owns. He has about 7 I think. He had G1 on his ferrari 550 then it got whipped around about and the last time I seen him t was on his phantom(my dream car) Ah...from the cars you just mentioned, don't think he needs any more money than he already has! Bet he invested in them years ago when they had no value, very clever... I think he paid around the £1,000,000 quid mark for a set and then sold a couple of them on. Douglas Park bmw (Biggest dealer in scotland) now own G8 but im not too sure where the rest went Clever if you have that much money to play with and risk. He could make a lot more back when selling them again! I would rather use that million and buy out a running business, I'm sure that will bring greater returns...
