Hi all! Have had an annoying knock coming from the front of the Z for a while now, for a start it seemed to be coming from the passenger side but now seems to be knocking at both sides. I have had a local garage look at it twice now an couldnt find any obvious worn bush's etc. The knock is only really visible at low speeds but is quite loud Any usual suspects i should check? cheers Kev

I would certainly date them all and try and get an idea of what similiar guitars are selling for, not what someone tells you they are worth. As with most things they are only worth what someone is willing to pay !

I have a very similar knock, had the car checked a couple times and found nothing wrong ....then it got worse so I had another look myself. The knock is coming from the plastic undertray below the engine. Two bolts were sheared and some of the clips were missing. I was sure the knock was coming from the front right somewhere but the tray is deff the problem. Check the undertray as your knock sounds exactly like what i am getting

Hi I live in very rural Aberdeenshire and the Z just wouldnt move in the snow we had last year. Will winter grips make a huge difference? i was planning just throwing some concrete blocks in the boot ! K

2-3 second delay on accelerating? I have had my popcharger just over a month and have noticed no difference other than the improved growl!

Isn't that the thing with the Z though, it looks far more expensive and exotic than it is. I've had a few "how can you afford that" or "check you in your flash motor" When i point out i probably paid less for it than their Focus/Fiesta etc they cant beleive it.

First was an azure with bodykit and spoiler heading north at Kintore Second was a very clean (compared to mine at the time) sunset @ Haddigan roundabout The wife then said "Its seems to be a common car" ..lol

Any one got this done, was thinking of roof and possibly tailgate, also middle setion of front bumper and door handles/bpillars? any pics would be apriciated K

I've owned for almost a year and have no negative comments other than the standard "Why have you bought a Datsun" Mostly from friends but its all light hearted. Get loads of thumbs ups from young lads (that sounds a bit wrong) some nearly snapping there necks to look back if you dab the throttle! My mate drives an Audi TT, the other day he stopped at the shop and got harrassed by some young chav chick .. "nice car .....dad" etc, I'd have slapped he! I would definatley react to some of the negatives you guys have had ....i'm not very tollerant of idiots !

Dont worry about that, Im going to be getting a garage built and 2 poster is at the top of the list but for now its outside where its cold Marzman do you have some normal plastic ones? The shape of them looks like the front bumper will scrape? No mate i've got some old school iron ramps but my Nismo kit scrapes them. WTF is that!! I've never seen anything like that before?! It's a rotissere jig, used on retro builds. Also get a spit roast type jig too ... Just spin or roll the car over

How can you have bought but not paid? Surely you will be at the top of the list of "No Contract." PS. no point in emailing, the price MUST be a mistake. You don't have to pay straight away, but you have agreed to pay. I'll wait till im invoiced, or see if I get invoiced
