    New shed

I am obsessed by looking at Ebay and trying to perfect the art of spotting a good car/advert. I am also amazed by looking at Spares and Repairs cars and how easily people give up on an existing car with relatively minor problems (often because another one has arrived). If I had more time available I would love to buy some of them.

We'll have to see but the service history is spectacularly good - right in accordance with the BMW schedule including brake fluid and coolant changes, all the Inspection II stuff on target and even things like a diff oil change thrown in for good measure. It will probably now blow up this afternoon

BMW 318i SE auto with 74k on clock and perfect service history. Nothing much to say about it really other than it was £720 on Ebay (42 bids, I bid with 13 seconds to go). Only minor cosmetic issues which I can sort easily. Not terribly exciting but you can get quite a lot of car for your money
  4. Very nice indeed. Having sold the XK8, I am poorly placed to argue for a "discerning gentlemen's" section.
  5. Just caught up with this. Colour combination is brilliant
  6. Many thanks. I also get the feeling that prices have bottomed out and might be on the rise I also had that feeling a couple of years ago about R107 Merc SLs - I did nothing about it and they have rocketed. I sold an XK8 in the Spring - no doubt they are on the way up now
  7. Apologies for a slight diversion. Alpinaman, did you have an E39 based V8 B10 and what did you think of it?
  8. I saw 2 in Salou town centre this summer - so there you go then (albeit that's Spain)
  9. I may be being oversensitive .....but just a tad
  10. Message received and understood at first time of asking. I'm continuing to form the impression you don't like it
  11. There was a 4C at the Shere Hill climb. Attracted a lot of interest, sounded and took off up the hill better than I expected. However, I love Alfas so I'm not very objective. At least you won't see one every 3 seconds.
  12. I think it could be said that the old swing axle on the Herald had it's limitations!
  13. If I'd looked more carefully I would have seen that the motorbike was an AJS not a Douglas.
  14. It's into it's 4th year with over 140 cars participating. Just a few from an eclectic mix: White chain driven car is Mercedes that ran in the 1913 Targa Florio, rude back-side of De Tomaso Pantera, Herald Drag car, GTV, Renault Alpine, Ford GT, Motorbike might have been a Douglas?
  15. Just seen this. Very tasty
