  1. Heading into Epsom from the Horton Park end - looked wide and low. Only got a quick glance. Wasn't sure it was Azure though?
  2. It may well be that the answer will be influenced by the answer to rtbiscuit's question about what wheels you are running. I haven't personally had the Falkens but I have read about 100 pages from various sources about the tyres you can get for 18 inch wheels for the 350Z and it would seem that if you are after a cheaper tyre, the Falken is highly regarded. Some people have a different view but given that you have said that you will be driving on the road within reasonable limits, I expect that you would find them highly acceptable. I personally have the 050As and favour the idea of getting the very best tyres you can afford (I would have got PS2s but couldn't afford them).
  3. As far as 050As are concerned - non-runflat with the code DZ on them - 050ADZ. PS2s are very highly rated - from reviews they tend to be the most favoured.
  4. Just one thing to add. I believe that there is a version of the RE050A that is run-flat. You don't want that version - If you are going down this route you would just want the normal RE050A.
  5. As I happened to be looking at this thread - I know that Will350z had his done at Abbey. He has very recently posted a detailed write up of his impressions - which were very favourable.
  6. 6'7" - gosh - I will ensure that I am polite to you at all times. May I commend Postman Pat's van to you?
  7. You definitely don't want to be 6'4 in some Sevens without a lowered floor, Tillet Seats or long cockpit (ooh er missus) - you might get in ok but a reasonable proportion of your head would be exposed to more than just the cold Fortunately I am more vertically challenged than you! Anyway......based on Will's (and others) experience with UpRev I have a horrible feeling I may not be able to resist in the next 12 months or so (once I have put more pennies in my Piggy Bank).
  8. I agree totally with you guys - the 350Z roadster is luxury with the roof down even when its cold Years ago I picked up a Westfield from Saffron Walden to bring back to Coulsdon when it was about minus 5. It didn't have a heater (although you do get some engine heat) and when it's that cold the vinyl roof shrinks to the point you can't get it to stretch over the poppers with removing all your fingernails - so I had to leave it in the boot. When I arrived in Coulsdon I virtually had to be lifted out of the car as the upper part of my body seemed devoid of independent movement (albeit with a frozen smile on my face) My daughter, who had volunteered to come with me, seemed to find it less amusing than I did.
  9. Will do - I can't be doing with all this spotting for no return Sorry Jerry - re the other "spot" it was definitely grey and clearly one of the "wandering lost unloved" non-club members.
  10. Yes, that would have been great - I was alternatively employed entertaining my mother-in-law Not that doing so wasn't hugely enjoyable of course
  11. Sounds great and seeing the results on the Dyno screen today, they are very convincing. I can't afford it right now but the torque and driveability improvements sound desirable and good value on a nm per pound spent basis. I wondered about the smoothness of the throttle response but from what they said and your experience it sounds like there is no downside. I also had great service today from Abbey sorting out my uprated drop links/rose-jointed compression arm bushings/4w alignment inc lifts to/from station!
  12. So am I - but for something much less interesting - alignment and new rear anti-roll bar links (their improved versions - easy for them to do quickly). This year's budget only runs to getting the basics sorted out
  13. It's good that you don't see that many. I tend to go out pretty early at the weekends mainly.
  14. No - I wasn't on here then. I was the proud owner of a Alfasud 1.5 ti in my Wallington days. My wife was born in Beddington but you can't have everything
