  1. Great Clio and Z. The last V6 Clio I saw had, as it happens, gone through a hedge backwards (literally) but I still love them - especially the sound. A couple of years ago there were a couple of them running in Rallycross.
  2. NT car park around 4 pm today. Couldn't see year/reg - people were loading things in the boot. Excellent taste in model and colour.
  3. I love hot hatches and have had some - they are very easy to live with and to drive quickly in a variety of conditions and roads with a high degree of confidence. Presumably there is no reason why you can't like all sorts of different cars for different reasons. The time round a wet track is simply one factor of many in why you might want one. The Z has a lot of character and personality but needs a bit of practice to drive quickly (and well!)....its just a completely different sort of car.
  4. Congratulations At the current rate it will be 2026 before I hit the same mileage ... I need to get my finger out.
  5. I have had this done quite a few times over recent years (various cars, wheel and tyre combinations). I have noticed the prices generally creeping up - however, the prices I have paid have ranged from £9 to £15 per corner.
  6. Hello and Congratulations re new car and in particular the excellent choice of colour!
  7. It is definitely worth speaking to them first. Abbey managed to repair my exhaust in such a way that is should last another 2 or 3 years. However, the problem with mine was the rear 2 sections where the two flanges meet. They manufactured a piece of pipe to cover the whole damaged area, removed the flanges and welded the two bits together. Whilst yours is a completely different problem they still might be able to come up with a solution to it.
  8. 04 I think. Heading towards Banstead. Was travelling in shed in other direction.
