  6. Hi guys, I am selling a pair of rear shocks and Compression arm bushes recently bought from Zmanalex. I ended up having to replace the compression arm due play in the ball joint. And the other side is still looking good. So I have two bushes for sale with the replacement cone and nut for the ball joint. In total I paid £55 for each side (Bush + cone + nut). I am looking to get £40 posted for a side. Or £80 for the whole lot inc delivery, which is a big saving. Next for sale is a set of rear shocks. Again i bought these from the ever helpful Zmanalex but found out I did not need them, I was just being over paranoid about things Looking for £60 posted for the pair, which is again a saving over what I originally paid for them. Thanks for looking
  7. Thanks for the guide, great write up, got in in and out with no issues But I am getting the eject error, tried the reset numerous times with no luck. The other thing I am getting is once i turn on the ignition, the stereo starts up then switches itself off without me doing anything. When i turn the power on, it comes on then i get the eject error when i push tape?? Anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance
  8. you can always call ahead to the store direct? if they have the right ones you could just get them to deliver?

  10. Nice looking red GT4? following me around the car park around lunch time while trying to find a space. Dunno if you saw me waving
  11. suprisingly the lotus had alot packed into it, almost like a tardis lol. Two man tent, double airbed, sleeping bags etc The wet camping wasnt too bad, it was the wind which was a killer. On the last morning one of our tent poles snapped! We woke up with the tent lying on us lol, pretty crazy wind we had, but thats part of the fun, atleast we all had a laugh about it. If there is one organised on here i will defo be there, cant wait to the next trip to the west coast!
  12. where did you guys head to? full tour or just a couple places? defo wont forget this trip in a hurry
  13. Video of the switch backs leaving Applecross, they were worse going up Thats it for now folks, hope you enjoyed the pics Cant wait to get another road trip on the go! The zed was faultless, never missed a beat. What a fantastic drive we had in it, re kindles the love you have for these cars we love and drive
  14. So last week me and a couple of friends thought it would be a great idea to go on a three night road trip to Applecross and then onto Skye. We met up on the Sunday night to "plan" the route, then set off on the monday at 10am. The cars we had was my Zed, 111s S2 Elise, Eunos mx5, not the most practical selection of cars for camping (see pics), but perfect for the roads we were about to take on. The route we took was: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Bla ... 1,2,3&z=10 The route was epic! up and over the Lecht to miss out the boring A96, was worth the extra time! Luckily the sun was shining and the roads were quiet as you like, so great for a hoon. If you have not heard of the applecross road then have a search, it is unreal, proper single track road and is one of the highest roads in the country. Plenty of switch backs which make the car go on three wheels This is one road that you have to take your time on, otherwise you will end up over the side of the mountain lol or into another car oncoming. But it is well worth the effort. We stayed at the Applecross campsite which was £8 pp to camp which was nice and cheap, more monies to spend in the famous Applecross inn. Would recommend the campsite, very clean and quiet with onsite bar/ resteraunt. The next day we headed to our campsite on Skye in a place called Sligachen. It sits in the middle of the Cullins which are stunning, you will see what i mean when you look at the pics. Again the roads were soooo good, fast flowing and very smooth, if only all roads were in this condition So enough talk time for the pics! More to come in a mo
  15. Thanks for the wave first one iv had in two years! best colour too
  16. Hi Alex, All the bushes look in good condition, from what i can see the car is sitting level, will need to check this. Ill also get the shock off when i next get a chance, been shipped offshore Thanks for the advice
  17. soooo, just checked all four corners to see if there was anything obviously wrong . . . and there isnt lol. All four ARB drop links are in good condition (should hope so as i replaced them within the last year) And all four shocks look good too, no signs of any leaks Could it still be a dodgy shock? even if there is no leaks to be seen? Thanks again
  18. Cheers guys never thought about the drop link, either would make sense for the way it's behaving. Will find out tomorrow
  19. Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has had this before. Just recently and quite suddenly while under hard accelleration it feels like the car squats to the rear right side and slightly pulls to the right, then when changing gear or letting off the throttle it jerks off to the left, at speed its pretty un nearving! Im going to get the car up on the stands tomorrow, i suspect it could be a shock on its way out. Is there anywhere else I should be looking? thanks in advance for the input
  20. I had these fitted last week, and I too agree they are great handling tyres! I was running the BS RE050 which I thought were pretty good. But these are just miles better! sooo much more grip in the wet. Only thing i would add is that they feel quite twitchy at motorway speed, which can be a bit un nearving, but im sure that will settle down once they bed in. Well worth the money
  21. Spotted you on my way out of the gym, looking nice
  22. Spotted you parked up while I had been bumped at the heliport due to weather Loving the wheels by the way
