Depending on other issues mind you but 1st - 2nd gear is always a bit...rough, especially when cold. Always take care with it when setting off. And even after a while, be confident but not firm so it goes straight in, if you hesitate or are unsure...its knows... its like a dog and fear...

I have now had many a time cr*pping myself when it kicks in, mute that video on the homepage! lol

I remember my first 99' 1.7D corsa, had it for 6 months before change to the 2.0 Coupe... in total in one year I paid about 2K. (horrid days ) You may have to just suffer the high costs at first tbh...or he will anyway. Theres no real way round getting it 'decently' cheap when your young.

Didn't get inside it sorry, bonnet didn't look as if it'd be too much of an issue. Seats look as if they'd be comfy, they';ve not went for the full on race seat

Had the chance tonight to stop off and have a look at the new Jag F-Type. (shoulda' took a pic but forgot lol) A black one with the V6 (pipes in the middle?). I've read a lot about how you need to see it in the flesh as some were saying its short looking etc but its honestly lovely. Long bonnet, wide stance, interiors simple but fantastic, bucket like seats look great too (the audi wing-backed kind). Really, really nice looking car. Only thing I would say is Jags brake calipers. For a car like that I'd expect ones like our brembos or ones for a merc, porsche etc the full caliper look. How do I explain this better...erm.. lol See normal calipers where its just made of bits and you can see where it all joins,the F-Types are like those ..with a name sticker on them. Terrible. Besides that...fantastic. Black also isn't its best colour in the flesh, something colourful would suit it.

This threads going mental. I love it! As I said its all good fun, but from just looking at rough times posted on the site from various stuff I'd like to be between 14-15secs...surely lol...BUT...we'll find out.

My cars the best thing EVER since bread was sliced.... Too most, the Z looks like some sort of porsche or so sitting next to your average car.

The minor face tweeks do make a difference I think, still looks a bit more modern. But, thats my opinion anyway lol. I bring nothing but class to the Zed *buckles laughing at himself*

Thank you rabbitstew! And its not the cost or what it can be picked up for... its how it makes you feel and a bit of that is reaction from others (not to you being in the car....to the car itself). Also I do know its failures and never ever said it was the fastest thing ever (i do agree it is reasonably fast though)...so thats hopefully not aimed at me DBlock! anyway I love how I can make these threads kick off (and its usually me giving inocent comments and people drop an anvil on them!).... lets all have a big Z family hug

Ok, I know I've been posting on about 0-60, crail etc but ignore all that, as I seen this video.... what time is the 370Z quoted at by Nissan? Skip to 1:45 (I'm gonna side with Ekona - I think it was you - who talked about the varying times for dragging, because evo doing their 13 sec 1/4 dead in a 350 but longer in this 370 but a mental 0-60, shows how wildly it can differ but having said that, don't down the Zed too much if it did it once.... at least it did it).

... Oh well Ekona....my bad

Anyway.....again... we'll see just how quick it can be come Saturday (please be dry lol)
