  2. Hi all and for those who don't know me. I bought my first Z in 2014 and became an avid member of the North 350z community attending may meets and events and making lots of new friends and acquaintances. I sold my first Z after 4 years of trouble free motoring which included a lengthy European road trip intending to upgrade to a 370Z coupe. Other priorities arose which put a hold on my intended purchase so the garage was left bare. 2018 came and urge came to do another EU road trip which encompassed the Route des Grandes Alpes in a convertible. I was sure at the time that I wanted a 370 coupe and not a convertible so opted to buy a 350 convertible just to do the trip and then sell it on. I have to say that the experience of the convertible was mind changing it was such an experience that I decided to looking for a 370 convertible instead. I have now purchased this 370 convertible and loving it. It's a 2011 in Burnt Cherry (I believe that what its called) automatic. It drive superbly. It does need some slight attention regarding the intake pipes which have been on since new and are showing signs of wear. Also the drivers side Cat is vibrating at tick over, Possibly the heat shield or may have come loose internally. Thanks Martin (Rothers)
  3. I have been a member on here for the past several years and this is my second 350z. I bought this Z in September of last year with the sole intention of doing a road trip round France and taking in the French alpine La Route des Grande Alpses and before purchasing a 370Z Coupe. The car had 46500 on the clock when purchased and has now 49230 which includes the 2200 miles just completed over the last two weeks. The car has never missed a beat during he time I have owned it, nor has not used a drop of oil or water during this time. It pulls and drives perfectly and the gearbox is as sweet as anything. The car has got full service history the last one being at 44208 miles. I maintain all my own cars and checked the car over thoroughly whist I've had it. The spark plugs are like brand new the performance air filter is perfectly clean. It has been fitted with a new standard Nissan exhaust from the Cats back the Banana bars have also been changed recently prior to my purchase. The Body work is in excellent condition for it 12 years of age as you can seen in the pictures. The roof works perfectly and has no rips, tears or wear marks it is as new. Everything else works perfectly. Any new owner will not be disappointed. Now I've boasted about the good bits the only flaw is the wheels could do with a refurbishment as the paint is starting to flake off and the front nearside has some slight curbing (done prior to purchasing may I add) The Price I'm asking is £6500 or very near offer as it such a good honest example.   4. It may seem a little silly but make sure you have tightened all the clips connecting the intake pipe especially the ones after the air flow censor. Also did you connect the breather pipe which is located underneath the intake pipe. I forgot this once and it threw up a fault.

  6. if u have zenons without washers than its ok if u have zenons with washers they must be working
  7. Try this it sounds like the throttle valve needs resetting.

  12. I been looking around the forum and cant find anything. Is there going to be a 2018 Calendar?
  13. Had a couple of spare hours this morning so out with the DA and Meguirars. Star ted of with the Boot which wasn't really too bad. Then onto the drivers side. This was a little worse with some quite heavy swirling.
  14. I know its not the same front end but this is what i did myself to my old Z. It then cost£250 to prep and paint.
  15. If you are not looking for something that will also double up as fast road or track runs the Mintex will do fine. They probably wont last quite as long as the more premium brands but you get what you pay for.
  16. This is my second 350Z and as a few of you who i have had the pleasure of meeting will know i'm a bit anal about the cleanliness of my cars. My first Z was a coupe in Black the hardest colour to maintain so it will be difficult to get my new Z to that standard. Here's a couple pictures I've found. So anyway i started on the new Z the other day, interior first. The seats were a little grimy and the trim needed a little TLC. The weapon of choice was a diluted bottle of 5:1 of Autobrite Peardrop Snowfoam (i'm sure other products will work just as well but this is what i had at hand). This was applied with a wheel brush to lightly agitate the solution before leaving it for around 3 minutes. Be sure not to allow the solution to dry off before wiping clean with a clean damp cloth. If it looks like it is drying off just add another application of solution. There were a few stubborn stains which needed a little persuasion with a tooth brush which seemed to have worked fine. I think the result worked pretty well. The interior has has the once over using Meguiars interior restorer. Thanks for looking Rothers
  17. Hi and hello to those who I've not had the pleasure of meeting. Its been a couple of years without my beloved Z and the driving experience it brought me. My plan is another European road trip to the South of France in 2018 so what better than to get another Z this time a convertible. I managed to source this one off Ebay 2006 box standard with 45K on the clock. Its got a few paint related issues but nothing a couple of sessions with The DA wont put right. I've already made a start on the interior using products in my tool box which i'm very impressed with, pictures later. Rothers
  18. This is what you should use. Its a little unstable so be careful
  19. There should be absolutely no idling issues following a clutch change. That said, you do have to remove the exhaust. Make sure that the Cat sensors are connected correctly and were not damaged in the process.
