You could always post some pictures of your car yourself, or start a build thread if you haven't already I think the general consensus on this sort of thing is if you turn up to a meet and someone takes a vid or photos of your car and posts tthem here then it's a bonus. Next time take some pictures of the meet yourself and post them up. Just kidding mate, i don't think anyone on here will care about clear front bumper reflectors or a stubby

Its actually made me want to do some work on my car. I love how Mike can't negotiate for toffee. Why can't i ever meet someone like him when I'm buying a car?!? I fitted my own disks and pads recently and was surprised how easy it actually was. I have a bit of a mods and upgrades shopping list coming along to tidy up the old Z now...

it happens when I apply more than half throttle but only last a second or two...its more of a sucking or blowing noise, hard to describe. Might be worth meeting up with a member near you. Doesn't sound like any noise i've ever heard. Very rarely I've heard a noise thats like a vibration at 2k revs and lasts less than a second but its randomly come and gone away again so I just ignore it if i ever hear it nowadays. Our cars are pretty solid I'm pleased to say.

Is it a small whirring / vibration noise around the 2k rev mark that you can reproduce even if you accelerate gently?

+1 for normal noise. I had exactly the same concern and there is nothing wrong with my car. And i think I must be in the top 10 (number 1 spot no less) for the number of miles driven! Enjoy your car

I was having a good nose at one of my neighbours zeds earlier. No one came to ask me what i was doing Its a very clean gunmetal grey with black wheels, i think powder coated but I'm not sure. How or even can you tell the difference? I'm guessing powder coat is more durable? I've never seen the owner so can't ask him.

Finally made it to a bodyshop to be told no. They don't want to try the job cause its too much of a job to prep and fit. This is going to take a while i think. Can anyone recommend someone in the somerset area?
