jumping350 replied to jumping350's topic in Member Build Projects
So where am i today, well plastidipped the rear and thinking of doing the lower front of veilside as well and added some stickers of people that helped, she comes out of 6 months hibernating this week hopefully, so some new pics needed more things to follow this year but thought I would put my progress up as its good to keep it in one place and someone may find it interesting -
Jumping350 Build - Reborn 17/4/2018
jumping350 replied to jumping350's topic in Member Build Projects
So eventually it came back out and got her home so the first thing to do is.... yes take the boot off but this went on instead un stickered -
Thought I might as well start my build thread and show my story so far (it has only been 4 years ) This is how she started in 2010 - except started out on 17 inch Jdms I added a nismo front splitter and plastdipped the wheels black Plastidipped badges and door handles too Time passed and a many threads read led me to attempt to wrap roof with ddcboyle Then I plastidipped the front splitter and a line along the door to add to my Black and Silver theme and added some pink stickers for the hell of it Pete (thenoname) turned this... into this.... Then I really badly wrapped my spoiler and swapped my lights from this... to this..... Customary window sticker Many months passed and many bodykits passed my eyes then I thought im a bit odd and different so lets make the zed that way This was a two way project in a fixing my rubbish fog light and having a different rear bumper as i liked the 370z bumper I gave that a go so i took this With a lot of cutting, sanding and moulding/rivoting and of course swearing, I ended up with this Quick trial fit While this was going on I couldnt do everything at once and still drive the car so i purchased this to tie me over till i finished the zed, was supposed to buy a run around not sure what happened I then decided to rip these out... and replace with this comfy mother The new seats looked worse than the old seats when I got them follow Petes epic revival of them here http://www.350z-uk.c...ping350s-seats/ At this point I figured I better do some engine bay stuff so spraying began on strut and replacement bits were sourced for the bay. wrapped and sprayed The result So the backs getting sorted so the front now needs some attention so picked this up (not everyone likes the veilside...as i found out.......in fact i think its just me and a few others but its my car so its going on) Trial fit Then I sprayed my wheels black proerly (excuse the lack of centre cap and old nuts ) I was then broke for many months after the previous stuff until the day finally came when I saved up all my pennies bought all my bits prepped everything and took it to Brooklands Kent to be put together The rear The interior all wired in and seats finally moving!! A snuggly fitting new bumper Starting to take shape

Hello mate glrnet is in dorking but failing that I'm not far so could pop down for you and take some pics and check it out -
Don't worry freebird lol I've been on my spare for over a year now need to get one to, we should do a group buy on immobiliser sticks for Jdm owners haha
-
As suggested clean contacts but apparently over time the contacts just wear so after a while even cleaning doesn't work, look into getting another it's better to have spare I would of been stuck if I didn't have one
-
Do you only have one immobiliser key point? Ive got two on mine one works one doesn't
-
They lose contact after a while and stop working im on my spare now you can get a new from cobra i believe and have them program it if you have the code? It maybe a card in manual
-
If this is still available il come collect am in epsom
-
Do you come to London much ?
-
Happy bday buddy
-
1 pair of 20 or 25mm wanted by me
-
the dash would work i would think Col, i may even have some white in the cupboard you can try it out on if you want , il have a look when i get in from work. My car is silver and when i did a panel it took a considerably amount to make it pure white without a dull tinge underneath, I would of thought on smaller items like a dash would be much easier
-
I've ordered some yay, I've used white col but you would need a shed load to cover colour underneath especially if it's dark, I'm getting glossifier to and glossing everything I've done so far so will take some pics,. I've got pretty good with bendy tape recently which gives you the ability to dip anything then lol
-
Welcome back Jordan, that's harsh buddy sorry to hear, I thought the accord was on the table, rx8 is a step up lol
-
Good job I've plastidipped everything lol I'm waiting for everywhere to restock in black so I can finish bits off! Buy in bulk you will always run out haha It's a slippery I started doing exactly the bits you did now the whole car is nearly two tone

-
yeah i read that, that's not simple to me lol heres what i have to work with so half of it there the 4 middle squares currently do mm ss which is fine they can stay the same im going to move the two outer numbers on each side so all the numbers are in line so the...... far left squares will be- hours far right squares will be - milliseconds given me 8 squares of lights all together to give me hh mm ss ms ms 00:00:00:00 i dont know what i need to allow this so it all acts as one clock??
-
exactly lol its £1000 to buy one but i have everything but dont know how to put it all together i think this one is more appropriate
-
right this is about as off topic as you can get!!!! probably cant be done but... I need a giant led race clock does anyone know where I could get this built? i pretty much have most things to do it and the current form reads only hh:mm so 59m59s max I would like it to read hours, minutes, seconds, miliseconds (so need someone who knows how to do this and is electronically gifted) I have 8 large 7 segment led displays already so need someone who can wire the lot up, it was taken from an old scoreboard so had a clock to begin with the other 4 7 segment displays were for the score so would reuse them to make up the missing numbers needed for the timer apparently il need a binary decoder?? Its for work purposes not to put on my wall any help appreciated
