  1. Yep but the gap to get into is only about 3.5" square. Attached a link that shows the full fitting guide, much better than what comes with the kit. Enjoy. http://my350z.com/forum/engine-drivetra ... -pics.html
  2. I agree with this, I thought I was imagining it, so took it up the motorway today and yep I'm convinced its slighly quicker in 1st and 2nd, mine kicks in heavy between 3k and 4k. Putting the self tappers in the air intake snorkel thingy was a real pain the bottom. apart from that I am one happy bunny.
  3. Just fitted a pop charger yesterday and I admit I had a few reservations having read some of the comments on this site. Now I'm converted, I love my popcharger.
  4. Welcome
  5. This was the actual article why I put this on the site, other members commented that they did not understand it, one A4 page that assumes you know what an item is by terminology and not helped by a photo that shows what they are talking about. Not everybody knows what they are talking about hence this guide in photos. If you can do it in ten minutes then thats great, but not if you have never done it before, received training, or gained help from some one else, otherwise you would be born the smartest person in the world and I dont think any of us fall into that category but thats another thread. What I was asking about this site, is it accurate?
  6. Hi Guys and Gals I wanted to find a good guide on how to fit a JWT pop charger as I will be doing mine tomorrow, I thought the instructions provided were a little limited if you had not done this before. I searched around and found this site showing how to fit one, I thought it was most helpful and concise as its a very good idiots guide. It was noticeable that some of our members were struggling to find a guide that was simple to follow and I think this fits the bill. What I would like to know from the learned out there is if this guide is up to date, I notice in the comments there was some discussion as to whether you need to disconnect the negative on the battery. Comments would be useful for anything that helps. Cheers and thanks. http://my350z.com/forum/engine-drivetra ... -pics.html

  20. Hi, check the professional detailers sites, some use them some dont, they will say that its the person using them that the problem, stand and watch the high street washers and you will see what I mean, dont copy anything they do. They are too close and washing at the wrong angle i.e. jetting water straight on to the panels, you should always spray at an angle that hits the crud at a shallow angle hence washing it away. Spraying straight on will force the particles on to the surface. I watched them washing a nice black SLK around the wheels at a distance of less than a foot and they blew off the centre wheel cap clear of, they are permanently attached to the wheel. You do not need high pressure and the karcher will do the job and you can get snow foam attachments for them, if you have the money then I agree the nilfisk is the better washer. You do need a washer if you want to snow foam. Remember though its the user not the machine, also never final rinse with one always sheet your water.
  21. One of lifes little experiences and you had one.
  22. You will get all sorts of advice from people who have already done this, some of which are not helpful and do not really help you, I found if this is your first time it is probably better to jack up on both sides ,remove the front inner linings, and then undertake the job referring to the helpful guides on this site, it is not that difficult, a flat scredriver and a 10MM socket and spanner etc will do the job. Once done like most things it is easier the next time. You might want to ask any members around your area if they can give you a hand on this first occasion, this will make things very easy for you, don't forget to take photos of the stages and let us know how you got on.
  23. I would have took a 350 z with mods to this budget. Now thats a different story.
