  1. Good job, looks great! No doubt you'll be inundated with PMs and requests...if you plan on making any for sale, please add me too the list! The only other place I know that does these is in USA..
  2. He who dares wins! Great storey, and all the best with it, sounds like a peach
  3. PM'd you Jay. I'll take those mats if they're still available, please.
  4. Is that a crack in the Z on the drivers matt, or a bit of fluff please!? I'm also interested to know how much postage is, if the poster above drops out.
  5. OMG EPIC! Fantastic roads too from the looks of things.
  6. Voted! Ok, your in 2nd place, and less than 1% behind 1st... ...C'mon folks, if you've not already get some more votes in In any case, hopefully you'll make the final at this rate LRF4N!
  7. I can phone 'em and ask this weekend. Are you wanting a black one then Husky? I'm happy to accept offers on this
  8. I can't provide a link due to restrictions at work, but... Search for 'Zled's on myspace & youtube, he does these in various forms. Not cheap though, and located in the USA, but they look great. Wouldn't mind a set myself.
  9. Rothers, I've had my Zed about a couple months now too, and lovin every minute! I'm a bit of a voyeur, so I'll gladly help you post some pics... Go to 'post reply', not the 'fast reply'. Under the text input area there is a 'Upload Attachment' section, simply 'browse' to the file on your hard drive, then click 'Add the file'. Wait a minute, then the file will either appear in the upper portion of the Upload Attachment section(might be the lower area of the text input, i can't quite remember! but its there somewhere) IF it doesn't appear look for a small notice at the top of the page indicating the file is too large. It needs to be about 1200 x 760 pixels
  10. Au contraire mon ami ..... your spelling is good today ...when I'm bad, I'm so bad I don't even know I'm good
  11. There is hope for me yet, I don't plan on getting 9, but it has made me wonder what the heck would I do if I got banned @dyla350z, I've got one of Nurrishes sat navs on the way, I think that has cameras loaded on it. Should help me avoid any more stupidity
  12. Yea yea ok, licience...my speeling is bad today. Its generally not a good day.
  13. I'm gutted for you mate, thats really crap. Did you have the mirrors flipped inwards? Theres a mod you can do so they flip automatically off the keyfob switch, looks good and might avoid similar happening in the future.
  14. Damn those speed cameras, I got another 3 points on my licence today, 6 in total now, uff! Got my first 3 on my bike when i first had it. Took me a couple of weeks to realise I couldn't do 30mph in 3rd gear, only 40 plus. That was almost 3 years ago so hopefully they'll be removed soon. Last week got flashed doing 61 in a 50, having followed someone for nearly 10 miles doing 35 on a national speed limit road. Impatient to get to where i was going, I over-took them as soon as we hit the dual carriageway and flash-flash, it got me. These Zeds are so smooth and quick, its suprising how fast you can go without realising. Stupid of me really, I'm normally so cautious, I even use cruise control in 30 zones so I don't stray over the limit! How many points you got, and anyone any advice avoiding more?
  15. I recently recieved some LED rear lights, sent via Parcelfarce. The box arrived battered, litteraly, no square corners left, multiple gaping holes in the side. One of the lights had taken damage to the narrow corner, resulting in the outer lense having broken off. Really, the condition of the box was beyond anything reasonable or understandable even -it looked like it had been vandalised. That said, I have sent/recieved a lot of packages and this is the first time I've been involved in a claim. Hopefully it won't take to long to resolve.
  16. I have a Zunsport Chrome grille, without towing eye to fit a 2003-05 350z I'm not going to fit to my GM Zed. I think it would look best on a black, blue or orange 350, but that of course is up to you. Item is as new, never fitted, comes in origional packaging with instructions and screw fittings. Purchased here on 28-07-10: http://www.zunsport.co.uk/product.asp?id=191 £75 posted.
  17. I've been trying to get this to work, but I get nothing. Neither does it break though, so thats something!
  18. I've not had my Zed long enough to feel like this, but I used to swear-by; riding after cleaning my last bike, it felt like it cut through the air better!
  19. With garages(especially large dealerships), always haggle, no 2 ways about it! Go about it in a nice way, and they're more likely to help. And if they're not nice about it, I wouldn't buy a car from them, because if you need to go back for any reason, they'll just be a pain in the ass. Similar to Stew above, I brought a brand new Buell motorbike a couple of years back from a main dealership, the list price was 7.5k, I paid 6.5k with 2 years free tyres, insurance and they agreed to fit all my mods as and when I needed. In that experience, its was surprising how different dealerships talk to one another. I simply put word about I was looking to buy at my price and at first no one would help, a month or so later they started dropping their prices, soon they were literally out-bidding each other. I returned to the dealership I wanted to buy from because they were nice folk, and they agreed to match the best price. My Zed was listed at 12.5k by an independent garage, which to be honest was high for the year and milage, but it was great condition, I paid 11.5k in the end which was much more reasonable -I actually only handed over 11k as after agreeing a price, I said I wanted to part ex my old Hyundai(good riddance)! We had quite a laugh over this sale. So in my experience there is everything to gain by haggling. Somewhat unrelated, but it springs to mind. You need to be relaxed to haggle successfully; personally I don't find it that easy spending thousands of pounds on items that will only loose you money! I get around this by viewing lots and make some offers to gauge reaction, even cars you can't afford -they give you perspective on the sale and what you can realistically expect for your money- and it also gets rid of the 'starry eyed' look and sweaty palms when you find the one you want to go for. Its only human instincts, but if the dealer see's that, they know they don't have to budge on the price. Buying from a personal is a totally different kettle of fish however! Not sure if thats useful info, but its what I've observed in my limited experience
  20. Hi Gervais, I'm interested in your throttle controller but know little about them. What are the benefits please?
  21. I thought it was more like 14ft/lb, and shaving nearly 70kg, which is quite decent... Not sure how accurate the information is tho' as it states the pre-06 engine is 287bhp and I read something quite different on these forums: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/350z
  22. I seriously considered 4 since mid 2009 and test drove 3 of them, but viewed a few more along the way for perspective. I looked at 06/7's I couldn't afford, some of which were in no better condition then earlier models with less miles. I saw a very nice 06 facelift, but it was right at the very limit of what I could afford. I paid a holding fee on a Super Charged 04, but had to walk away as the history was suspect. Fortunately for me, a very tidy GM Alezan 04 with good milage turned up for sale in my backyard, I viewed it, haggled a lot, in the end the price was good and I saved enough for some mods so I drove it 150 miles back to work the next day! What a journey...
  23. Hi Boomstick, Evil Dead fan? Having recently gone through the process of viewing and buying myself, I ended up with an '04. To me there was little difference, even in condition and miles on the older cars when compaired to newer ones. Its hardly a deal maker, but Pre-06 Tax is about £220, while post-06 is more like £420. Also -I'm not that clued up yet, but- I question if the 06 is 'that' much faster, if at all. Certainly not noticable I'd say. The pre-06 cars have less bhp sure, but they are a good 60kg lighter and have more midrange torque(according to the wikipedia page I read). What I'm saying is; for me it wasn't a deciding factor in the choice I made. In my experience theres a lot of difference between 350's of any age, and I think this is reflected in the variation on prices. Best thing to do is get out there and test drive! All the best
  24. I used to have this problem with one of my older cars. Whatever you do, don't shout at it when its on your car, it'll only scare and run, scratching the car while it does...as did one to me! Maybe one of these will help, an anti-cat sonic weapon, non-lethal. > http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?moduleno=223218 Edit: Actually this one may be better: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=222552
